I rest my case - Approximately 68 million Americans — about one in four — will wager on Super Bowl 2024, a 35 percent increase compared to last year, according to projections.
It’s estimated that $23.1 billion worth of bets will be placed for Chiefs vs. 49ers, but only $1.5 billion will be wagered through legal gambling, per the report by the American Gaming Association.

Is that why the Lions decided not to take a quick FG instead of getting 7 at the end of the 49ers game? To cover the point spread? They are getting railed for that call since it left them with only an onside kick left to use. They had 3 timeouts left and SF was not taking any chances with a pass so yeah kicking the FG would have been better.

Whats more crooked is in my city all the Indian reservations pay off the state to hold the exclusive in person sports betting to themselves. In Wa state you can't gamble on sports online in the selected casinos only.

STOP BETTING! It ruins the game. OK, do a few squares with your bro,s ‘n ho’s, but JUST FUCKING ENJOY the GAAAAMMMMEEEE people.

I choose to put my tinfoil hat and conspiracy theories in the trash and close the lid on this fine day of days.

i look foraward to yelling unrepentantly at the refs, coach play calls, undisciplined dB’s, while munching on natchos, wings, and charcuterie…

The 1st half was pretty dull, thought KC was half asleep. Than the chess match started. Probably just as exciting as the Old Chiefs that would just out bomb you with 40 yard passes. They beat you now with so many simple short passes. Now I know to let the other team go 1st on offense in OT. You get an extra down cause you're going for it every 4th down.

But if both teams score you have 3rd possession only need a field goal and it's over.

With the amounts bet, do you honestly believe games aren't rigged?
Damn they did a great job of rigging this one.
Exciting game..changes in momentum ebbs and flows lots of entertainment.

I'll repeat my question..who decided Chiefs would win in OT?

The hypocrisy of the NFL is rich. They suspend and ban players for betting and yet they have gotten into bed with online site, fantasy football, sports books, you name it. There's just too much money to be made with gambling. Bruce Willis predicted it decades ago, anyone remember the last boy scout? "legalized gambling is the only thing that will save football" or something like that was the tag line from the nasty team owner.
