Strange New Weather Phenomenon

I experienced this scary and odd looking weather event this morning.

As I was driving, these little drops started to fall on my windshield. And then I noticed other cars had these two arm like things going swish swish on the windshields.

I was still a little away from my work when a car rear-ended another one. I think it could not stop at the red-light.

Oh NO!! Just looked outside, the ground is getting wet with this stuff falling from the sky!! Be careful out there folks.

I hope the end of the world as we know it, is not around the corner.

I have a vague recollection of a glowing orb we used to see in the daytime sky. It was an eon ago, like two days or more. I wonder what happened to it?

Yup was ready for the slick streets when I ventured out today. It was brutal.
Like driving on an oil slick. Almost had to put the 4 wheel drive in gear.

It is nice, breathing the fresh autumn morning air is one of the joys of living on the westcoast in September.
