I’m not sure, but if I had to guess I’d say the ID requirement to sign up might be a deterrent for some. Why are there almost none of the LL SP's on Tryst if it's more affordable and reliable?

The nice thing about Craigslist was it doesn't make its money off of selling sex (most income still comes from job and rental ads). Back in the olden days was a great place to find ladies looking for a bit of extra cash. Backpage tried a similar thing, but got greedy and then criminal, leading to being shut down pre-COVID "for knowingly facilitating illegal activities, primarily sex trafficking and the prostitution of minors" The site generated hundreds of millions in revenue by knowingly hosting "adult services" ads, often editing them to conceal illegal content. I guess those guys went and worked for Vice Magazine after thatI miss the old Craigslist and Backpage days 🤣
I do too! Go in the red with every extra added on with leolist advertisers these days...why i dont partake much anymoreI miss the old Craigslist and Backpage days 🤣
It is established and has created a market which I think is key.Yes LL has many issues but not came along at the right time and is well established . Much like Facebook .
So just the same way no one is going to come along and replace Facebook . Even though no one likes Facebook anymore but none of us delete our accounts ,
The chances of someone actually putting LL out of business are slim , and most of us will still take a glance at it from time to time , as is evident from all the references to the digits used in LL ads in many many , still ongoing Perb reviews .
thanks for this insight, I didn't realize ID was required for tryst on the provider side.I’m not sure, but if I had to guess I’d say the ID requirement to sign up might be a deterrent for some.
They require I’d, and they can take up to a month to get ads approved. My friend waited 6 weeks for her ad to be approved on tryst.thanks for this insight, I didn't realize ID was required for tryst on the provider side.
I agree with this. I used to use LL exclusively for shopping around, coupled with here for the reviews. Now it's just PERB and the odd Tryst looksie. I'm typically an agency guy though - too many risks with indies in my opinion. No offense to the good ones out there, love you ladies! What am I missing? If you have PERB, what else do you need? Who cares how bad LL is?
Seriously, please enlighten me.
Wow. That's either some serious screening or a broken screening system. Based on the quality I generally see on tryst vs something like LL, I assume the former. I would be curious to see the denial/approval statistics for tryst. They require I’d, and they can take up to a month to get ads approved. My friend waited 6 weeks for her ad to be approved on tryst.
You are my favourite kind of person 😘Wow. That's either some serious screening or a broken screening system. Based on the quality I generally see on tryst vs something like LL, I assume the former. I would be curious to see the denial/approval statistics for tryst.
For me the biggest factor in choosing an SP is risk mitigation. I'm not looking to take an unnecessary risk in the connection process. Of course both parties hold some risk.
For me I generally prefer independent providers who take time in presenting themselves as any consummate professional in any industry would. I like reading through profiles, and I especially appreciate when a provider has taken the time to build a brand around the service, with their own site for example, with thoughtful tasteful photography. To me the greater a providers level of demonstrated commitment to longevity in the industry the lower the risk for me. I similarly do my best to respond in kind, with thoughtful communication and select based on the quality of communication.
Possibly not the average approach, but I'd rather any appointments be of mutual benefit and enjoyable for both with a certain level of professional respect as the foundation.
Thanks again for sharing the perspective from the other side.

I deleted my Facebook account, and I don't miss it one bit. There was nothing good happening there: scams, pushed ads, and page advertising their products and services (ads again, but ads you follow). And I also realized I don't need an alternative. Regarding Leolist, there are many other advertising websites so it's not like there's no other way to find escorts. It simply requires a quick and small change of habit. So just the same way no one is going to come along and replace Facebook .
