Can you imagine if the Rangers win the cup. AV hoisting it will be the final slap in the face for the Canucks season.

not a Ranger fan, but have always thought Vigneault was not the problem when he was here.
AV's system (to some extent his demeanor) was better suited to current Canuck roster.

I won't be cheering for NYR or Habs (Canadian factor) anytime soon,
but I am enjoying the playoffs and the quality of hockey on display.

Lucic is such a classless piece of shit. He went from being a fairly nice, albeit brash kid here in Vancouver to a typical Bostonian cretan. I sincerely hope someone like John Scott or Matt Cooke does a Marc Savard special on him. He can dish it out but he can't take it. Boo-frickey hoo crybaby. End rant.

Habs/Hawks final.

Habs all the way now lads. They beat the big bad bullies (nice!), and are off to the races. Watch out Hawks. Better leave somethin' in the tank if they make it to the finals...

That's pretty tough to imagine.
The rangers are essentially relying on Henrik. Rich Nash isn't producing; the rangers have had some good offense by their 3rd and 4th liners but that doesn't often last. They need the big boys to start producing. Rangers beat flyers and Pengs. The flyers had Mason, and Pengs had Fleury (On top of Sidney being lost out there).

I see Montreal taking this in 5.

Eastern hockey is so underwhelming.

I think LA is going to win it. Not sold on the Gibson as the new Roy narrative and the East is kindergarten compared to the West. Oh, and Corey Crawford is shaky at best, if I'm being nice. Rangers suck in Montreal and frankly having to go to Game 7 against Fleury and the Flyers is kind of embarrassing for that roster.

Good thing you're pretty :p
Eastern hockey underwhelming? Did you watch any of the boston/montreal games? That's rated one of the best series/rivalries to me.

Corey Crawford shakey? I think he's proved all the doubters wrong. His stats are solid and he was a brick wall during the last seconds of game 6 when the wild were throwing pucks at the net. Corey Crawford doesn't get enough rep. He's making 6mill/season for a reason, he's a solid/dependable goaltender.

And for L.A. Quick has been shakey as well, for the first three against the sharks, he wasn't himself. He's playing OK right now, not the awesome Quick we've seen before.

That Ducks series was hell of a lot closer than Game 7's result. One misclear by Bryan Allen in Game 1 and that soft game 6 goal by Gibson.
I think all that talk about how Gibson was so great added too much pressure for him.

I too like the Hawks and Habs in the finals and it will be Hawks, they have it all size, speed and that little guy Kane.

In Lust Mostly
Kings have been down a few times in this Playoff run and IMHO it would be foolish to bet against them. Hawks looked rather lack lustre against the Mild a few times and lucked out in the end.

Kings in Six!

Montreal seem to have a new destiny brewing right now and NYR have out performed their regular season on many occasions. Although I would love to see A V wave the fucking Stanley Cup in Aquilini's face, I don't think its happening this year. NYR will put up a great fight but in the end Montreal's goal tending, D Men and some awesome goals will win it.

Habs in Seven!

montreal over the rangers, easy call

LA over chicago, LA is on a roll now with hot goaltending and their goal scorers are confident, chicago is there but they seem beat up and tired and their goal scoring stars are not producing

LA over montreal in 7
