St Patrick is famous for banishing snakes from the Emerald Isle.
I have this dickhead fantasy of smuggling a few breeding pairs of snakes into Ireland, just for shits and giggles.
Nothing too dangerous, maybe just Garter snakes. 🐍🐍

Considering there never any snakes in Ireland to start off with not much of a miracle. You could claim to rid BC of all the kangaroos, maybe they’d make you a saint?
Where I gee up there were a number of Irish immigrants including my grandparents who were from Northern Ireland. There was one individual who would wear an orange sweater on St Patrick’s day as of course he was an Orangeman and proud of it.
Funny.
I was watching a documentary on him, basicly he became a monk, and brought literacy to Ireland by founding a lot of monasteries, it was the founding of the monasteries that spread literacy to England and eventually to the continent of Europe. The monks ended up preserving a lot of latin (roman) writtings. But this could of happened anywhere a monatery was founded in Ireland, England and in Europe as a whole. Another documentary was on How the Irish saved Civilization...
