I always find it interesting and awkward when I see a SP I have seen in public. Does this happen to others very often? Just curious.
I was recently at bar and there was a band playing and the lead singer was a SP that I have seen before. It was a while back and not sure if she is still in the biz but it was interesting. I walked by her during a break and I felt awkward although i doubt she even recognized me. Interesting when it happens in a public place like a bar. SPs all have other lives and careers I know so its not surprising it happens but I was caught off guard that she was in a band. Although, musicians probably have time to pursue side careers.

This may have been talked about before but I thought i would get others feedback when this happens.
Cheers

Here we go again.

Don't ever make contact in public even if she looks to be alone. Super awkward if a BF, family member or friend appears.

dude they are all SP's college students working at McED's or the mall... a very high percentage of age eligible ladies think about or follow through with for a long or short time stripping or SP'ing there are so many more you pass in day-to-day that you see who you do not even know have been SP's or are SP's.

Yes many times. People with common sense, just go on with their day.
Don't say hello, don't wave, don't nod.

If it's okay with the privacy police here, may I suggest that a smile might be appropriate in some cases. Here are the two most likely outcomes:

a) If she recognizes you and wants to return the acknowledgement, she can smile back or say 'hi' to you herself.
b) If not, then you're just some schmuck smiling at a pretty lady; no harm, no foul.

So long as your eyes don't give it away with the "hey I fucking know you" type of look like you're her dog, nobody else around would think twice about it.

Or if you are a regular, you can always ask your SP if she would want to duck and hide if she ever saw you on the street. If the answer is yes, then the rapport you thought you had is apparently only while on the clock.

When SPs are out and about they blend in pretty well for the most part. One exception I think would probably be Classy Angel. I've seen her around downtown a few times before- if it weren't for the size of her chest she'd look like any other lady walking down the street.

As a general rule though, don't make contact. Lady could be out with friends or family. I've heard a few really awful stories about bumbling clients who act like overeager dogs when they see an SP out in public. Really not appropriate behaviour lol.

Yes, all replies are the way it is, but let's go a step or two further. Out in public means just that, and if you are on a public computer feature such as Facebook or other wise, recognizing the picture of an SP and commenting on that on the board or otherwise where the word will be made public is equally as bad manners. I know an Sp that was outed in this fashion, some jerk got on a board and blasted out her ID. Another one came out of a shop to find a client leaning up against her car one day. Pretty dumb moves guys.

Public is just not walking down the street, in a bar or a parking lot, its everywhere and everything the public has access to. even posting the picture with a face on PERB of some one is dangerous. It is not your right to do that, and the consequences can be devastating.
