They had Neil McRae on at work all the time, I remember calculating if I had time to drive to the radio station and punch him on my lunch break. That's audience engagement.

Fuck, such a sad day it was finding out Bell canned everyone at 1040 yesterday....and in an absolutely classless and heartless manner too.
Like c'mon, telling the hosts they've been laid off DURING a commercial break!?!?!
It'll take time to transition over to 650....they're guys are so uh...straightlaced? Whereas the guys (&gals) at 1040 you totally feel comfortable just grabbing a beer with them!

Only time I heard him was w-a-y back when he did sports bits for JR Country.
He's rant about something, and dj Jim Fraser would calm him down.
