I was thinking we could do with a sports thread.......football,hockey,basketball,diving(aka soccer) whatever you feel like.
I'll start with cpl observations...
Houston Astros have been vilified for their cheating in the 2017 World Series, and rightly so.I was under the impression this was done via their scoreboard
in their home park?
In that '17 WS they won 2 games, including the deciding Game 7 in Dodger Stadium.Did they somehow manage to cheat in the road games as well?
NFL NFC looks to be close with 4 or 5 teams capable of going to the SB.
If the Seahawks can improve their defense, they might be the team to beat?
Or, Tampa Bay could become the 1st team to be in a SB in their home stadium?
AFC looks to me to be KC and the rest(how did they lose to the Raiders?)
Yes, the Steelers will soon be 8-0,but I still think KC is better.
6-10, maybe even 5-11 might be enough to win the NFC (L)East, and get a home playoff game.
Covid could still derail the NFL, but let's keep fingers crossed.
NHL starting by early January seems to be a bit "optimistic", what do you think?
Hoping for lots of input, ideas, arguments(let's keep it civil, lol)
Let's hear from you!
