SP traffic volume

I recently read a review where someone saw the next client sitting and waiting for his turn. If you were going to guess which one of these groups would have the lowest client volume?

1. Established SP at high end agency charging $350-$450/ hour

2. New SP at high end agency charging $350-$450/ hour

3. New SP at lower priced agencies $200-$300/ hour

4. New "independent" SP priced at $200-$300/ hour

I see so many girls listed on leolist and majority are not reviewed here. Are they all busy? Are the ones that are not reviewed and not part of a high end agency all bad? Is it you get what you pay for?

Sorry so many questions. I'm a curious guy. Would love to read people's opinions.

This is very close to the line of breaking our rule about not complaining about or discussing pricing. I will caution anyone to keep away from complaining, the ladies can charge whatever they like. You vote with your feet and your wallet. Keep all names out of it.

Not sure where you are shopping, but the number of reputable independent ladies below 300/hour in BC is minimal these days , a very small part of the escort market or talking strictly about massage/half service. You don't need to take your shoes off to count the ladies who are legitimate below 300/hour on Leolist or Tryst, at least in Vancouver. They are few in number, although not completely non-existent. On Leolist, 95% or more advertising 200-250/hour or something similar are scams. In addition, you are missing a ton of categories, like the middle to the top end of the independent market on the west coast, which is well over 500 per hour, up to and over 1000 in some cases. Which is similar in dollar amount to the GTA, but a much bigger part of the market here.

Your categories are very heavily agency focused, which makes more sense in Toronto or Montreal, not as much out West. Our agencies in comparison are far fewer and much higher priced. There are a small handful of agencies out here, versus dozens in the East. Almost every one out here would be a high end agency on your scale. We have a very big AMP (Asian massage parlor) scene that displaces much of the lower end of the agency market here versus the eastern half of the country. Nearly all MP's are full service in the west, which is also very different than in the GTA.

The majority of ladies advertised on Leolist as Asian or mixed fall in this AMP or MP market. The review you read about a guy sitting and waiting his turn out here was almost certainly an AMP. No indy would ever do that, nor a reputable or higher end agency.

I sincerely doubt the ladies will feel like sharing their level of business/busy, I wouldn't in their shoes. As for the guys, most of them wouldn't have the slightest clue, unless they are getting the info second or third hand or just speculating. I can certainly tell you I don't know who is busy and who isn't and I wouldn't feel entitled to ask.

Thank you for the information. It was not my intention to have a discussion on prices charged. It was just an observation on what I see on leolist. It is good to know though that listings with low prices are suspect and best to be avoided. As for the busyness of providers I get what you are saying. I also know that there are a number of people who have worked in the industry who are members here. So I was more curious if this industry is like any other and there are busier and less busy SPs. Sorry if I offended anyone by my curiosity

Most reputable indies try to keep traffic down in the hallways so the neighbors don’t notice. Rates don’t really reflect how busy an indie is.

As for who is busier new or established with a good reputation, they’d probably be the same. Lots of gents always want to try the new girl at an agency. Some just because variety is the spice of life but others cause they’re assholes and want to test the new girls boundaries. But good looking will always be popular no matter if she’s new or been around awhile.

When I worked at Swedish touch, there was always men coming and going. They had 3 waiting rooms, they’d put gents in. They tried to keep people from running into each other. But it wasn’t uncommon for a few strangers to all come off the elevator together. Sometimes you didn’t even have time to fix your makeup between sessions. These days I have zero desire to be that busy. One or two appointments in a day, a few times a week is my speed lol

For the OP- How would you know if bumping into another customer is something that happens often or extremely rarely?
I did bump into a “next guy” once leaving a fave that I had seen a dozen times. She later said he was way early and must have been lurking her hallway when I walked out.

@westwoody does have a point.
The truth is, you only know what you decide to believe. They can be a low volume provider, and they could a high volume provider.
Most will state they are low volume regardless of the truth.
There are high and low volume times of the year for these girls. Don't let your imagination run wild.

You might think that bumping into the previous or next customer is a sign of high volume, but that may not necessarily be the case. It's possible that you did your booking during a peak time of day and that the provider had not seen many/any clients prior to "rush hour".

I once saw a regular at an agency and she told me how bored she was from sitting around all afternoon without a single customer. She put extra effort into our session because I was a regular and she wanted to keep me coming back for more. When I left she told me she might take a nap because she was tired from our vigorous session. But later she messaged me that a continuous queue of clients had showed up after me and she was exhausted.

The expenses of an SP.
Room expense- (40-90 per hour/client depending on agency or arrangement)
Travel expense- going to work, bus, train, car.
Parking expense-
Beauty expense-
Prep time and post clean up time-
Looking at expenses of 80-130/client (I might be a little high) but I base this on a car driving in to work + room fees. Can Driving be a write off on taxes for her business??

Personal expense- Rent, mortgage, car, insurance (house, content, car, life), savings/investing (an SP in her 20s and 30s should really being saving 20-40 % of income, but every day expenses come into play). Not to mention water, hydro and heating costs.

At 400/hr and 2 customers a day, 5 day work week = 4000/week or about 200,000/year.... As it is mostly a cash business

For me in the last 25 years. Property taxes have definitely doubled, inflation has drastically raised the price of food and hydro has gone up at least 50% (and from a straight low rate to a tiered rate which increase's price in winter time for electrical heating). House insurance has doubled due to Calgary flood in the 2013s and the rise of construction cost of rebuilding.

So a motive to save and invest should be a priority for the future. Your tax free account and RRSP (based on your last year taxes).
