I recently wrote a less than favourable review of a SP which she caught wind of and she has since told me it was stupid because she "knows where I work" and my real name.

In actuality she knows where I WORKED but she does know my real nam e

That is so unprofessional. Working in this business where there are review boards for such services- a review is expected, bad/good. If she cannot deal with criticism and has to resort to a trusting clients private details her review should stay up even more so. You are a gentleman for not mentioning who it is. With your first and last name she cannot do much, I am sure there are other men with the exact same name- good luck to her hunting you down.

But for the mean time I would suggest you lay low and do not respond to her empty threats.

I'd think that this is a good example of why you shouldn't:

1) Disclose any of your real information to escorts, ranging from your real name, your place of work, your actual job or even your actual phone number, and
2) Disclose what your actual PERB, TER or other board handle is, so if you have negative reviews or things to say about SPs or even in general so SPs can't use what you say against you or try to censor what you say.

I mean if someone meets you using a fake name, maybe it is a sign that you shouldn't be using your real information with her either right?

I'd also think that in this digital age a lot of bad things can happen with just your real name, I mean you could just punch someone's name into Facebook and see what comes up, including place of work and relationships with certain people that may not approve of someone's escort seeing ways..

I am sorry you had to deal with this. This is exactly why some are hesitant to write honest reviews when they have a bad experience. Review boards should have all reviews posted. Everyone's experience and perspective counts! (I have had some less than favorable reviews. Sucks but that guy is entitled to his opinion!)

I wouldn't worry too much though. Really, what is she going to do with your name? It's likely an empty threat...

Be careful who you give your info to. And definitely warn others about this nasty behavior.

How convenient for you that the thread in question has been deleted, so that no one can go back and see how you have re-framed the events to present yourself in a more favourable light. The issue was not "a less than favourable review." You deliberately posted private session information about the lady that you knew she didn't want made public, with the specific intent of damaging her reputation. I take her response less as a threat, and more as her way of pointing out how ridiculous it is for you to post her sensitive info, when she has yours.

Definitely not the way I'd handle it, but do I feel you are any kind of victim? Hell no.

I never said I was a victim or that she would do anything with my info I was just curious to see what she COULD do with it if she was a shitty person like me.

I shouldn't have posted said info but it was only services not personal details

You can't call it a review as the appointment was not made.

Yes, she did cancel on you last minute, shame on her. But she did offer compensation which you interpreted as insulting and proceeded to write venomous comments, which seems to be standard practice from you, given your history of posting snide remarks.

What I am struggling with is this: if you had been receiving good service in the past, and this is the first (and IMO, a very minor) transgression - why would you risk that by exposing yourself? Did you really think your post would not get back to her and figure out it was you? She has many fans on this board (myself included), one of whom probably gave her the heads up on what you wrote. I'm actually surprised the thread was deleted this late.

All you accomplished was to get yourself blacklisted by one of the better providers out there. Way to burn that bridge, pal. Flame on.
