Exactly. It is a malformed link and people should recognize that and NOT click on it.note the period placement between u and b
youtube looks like this http://www.youtube.com/
A link to Sara Evans "A little bit stronger" looks like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=22zB6Soc2Gk
I'd never click http://youtu.be because I have no idea where it will take me or what kind of payload it will attempt to download
Okay
Just so you know though, http://youtu.be is one of the most popular shortened urls. There's nothing to be worried about there. It's shortened, not "malformed"

Ooooo! Turkey porn! (I hadn't seen some of those pics before -- very nice, Miss St. Claire)
I was watching a YouTube vid earlier tonight that I found quite amusing and wanted to share with a friend via email. When I hit the "Share" link for the video, the link came up as one of these so-called "shortened" urls. So, it seems that it IS an "official" link thru YouTube's site.URL shorteners are quite common. But are they really necessary on Perb? As long as posts don't exceed the Magna Carta we haven't applied size limits. We have a limit on posting non-Perb URL 's though.
We suggest that posters use the long-form, for now. And guess where posters of suspicious or bad links end up?
Hint: they do not pass go.They do not collect $200.
