Those that are casually racist usually have little-to-no contact with the race(s) that they discriminate against, and are typically racist purely because of their upbringing. These casually ignorant racists don't usually feel any real hatred towards other races, and are racist more out of ingrained habit than anything else. Often, if they get significant exposure to the race(s) that they discriminate against, they will see that they're not so different, and start to question their racism.
Those that are willfully ignorant, however, are another story entirely. These are the people who simply refuse to even listen to any opinion that differs from their own, and refuse to acknowledge any fact which contradicts their narrow little world view. These people generally contradict themselves frequently, without seeing any logical problems. These are the idiots who join the KKK, and other racist organizations. These people never change their stripes, and it's truly a shame that we can't remove them from the gene pool.
My impression is that CallMeJack is a willfully ignorant racist. Ban him permanently.

For myself, I'd be sad to see it all disappear. I personally think that cultures are what give our lives the spice it needs. I've seen first-hand the problems with the 'Americanization' of cultures.
