We just updated the software a short while ago as you may have noticed in your Usercp -
however the server is running slow again. So we are trying to troubleshoot the problem.

Did you check the necessary RAM spec? You must double the size of RAM when the software grows about 1.5 to double like before. Also, hard drive space is another factor too.

Search button is invisible on my end too so it isn't anyones computer. We're all in the same boat here.

Servers nowadays have 2 cpu slots. But in this case, the mods need to analyze their infrastructure. You need to answer questions like these: How many servers are running? How many users are connecting simultaneously? It's like a thorough analysis. You may want to put some users to try the new software by putting them on a separate server and then monitor daily performances. This is what kills lots of businesses for not doing a very thorough analysis before implementing new things.

Did you somehow miss the part where Fred said that he'd be turning the search function back on? Obviously it wasn't available when she posted, and obviously it is again now... Sheesh, that really shouldn't have been hard to figure out.
