Is it me or does it seem like ever since bill C36 became law that making short notice appointments with reputable SP'S has become almost impossible? Has anyone else noticed this??

Not really. I think it all comes down to (SPs') availability. I am not even sure how C36 could even affect it.

Personally, I prefer 20-30 minutes notice at a minimum if I've advertised that I'm working. I find that's the minimum amount of time I need to get myself into the right headspace, regardless of what the request is.

Five minutes wearing my Cowboy hat should get you in the right "Headspace"
It's massive ,so it should protect your ears....I try not to use them as handles....Just sayin'

It's summertime! I know a few SP's.. Myself included that are only taking a limited amount of clients. It's been so gorgeous out! Who wants to sit inside :)

All you have to to is keep trying :)

more ladies are entering this industry part-time to make ends meet because the paycheque from their straight job doesn't go as far as it used to, and more students doing this on the side.
This for sure. I know a couple of ladies who have straight jobs and set very clear limits on their hours doing this.

It makes them harder to contact since they only check their sp phone once a day. But they get all the business they want so they are happy.

Note that "all the business they want" is not the same thing as "all the business they can get".

Lol Claire. I wish I could schedule my horniness!! That's not the only factor though. Life tends to get in the way when I schedule. So rather than be that guy cancels all the time. I prefer short notice (1-2hrs). It just seems it's harder to book short notice today than it was even 7-8 years ago. Not a rant just a question. Thanks too the ladies for their input.

I always feel bad asking on short notice and book in advance whenever possible. But work and family affairs absolutely consume me barely leaving any time for myself. It works though, as it regulates me from spending all my $!

For reputable SPs, longer notice allows both parties to plan and build up each other in anticipation. The sessions are usually way better that way too.

Claire, true that horniness can't be scheduled... as it's always on ;-)

I try to book well in advance may be s month to a couple weeks in advance. When I know I am coming to town. Sometimes I have changes to my flights and my schedule but in most cases I am able to set things up in advance. Have have some very specific requirements for the lady especially if there is a role for her to perform.

So not much of a short notice guy.

LADY-VIA

when Im downtown, showered, dressed ect, I can be ready to rock and roll within 15 minutes.. However thats rare for me right now as I dont live downtown either, (or in vancouver) and commute. I also have zero desire for any downtown activities, such as the night life ect, and I spend all my free time outdoors and as far out of the city, away from people and the concrete jungle as I can get. I have a specific posting style on ers which most have gotten used to. One post in the morning to say Im open to possibly arranging a time to play that day, and two seperate adds that I will post back to back to let people know that I am downtown, so short notice is ok. I also post "short, or shorter notice ok " when im more flexible with time. Right now its pre booking only pretty much at lease 24-48 hours in advance unless stated otherwise. I dont need to be advetised for you to contact me though. The way I post on ers is my little way of telling people kind of how to arrange a time with me that day if they want to play. With proper notice Im very flexible including as early as 8am / 7: 30, or as late as 12 midnight. Being able to anticipate a meeting is always nice. Planning in advance enables me to be able to plan my day accordingling around my date(generally just 1 a day right now). Eating properly before hand, making sure I have the right amount of sleep, as well as that personal time to get in the right head space.

Miss Erica and Lady Via.....You've both mentioned "Getting in the right headspace"
Most men cannot relate to that comment....We as the testosterone filled Neandrathals that we are...Seem to always be ready as an opportunity would present itself.
If a young lady were to walk into a room that looked like either of you...The only "headspace" we are thinking about, may or may not require lubrication.
Having said that, most of us try not to be a knuckle dragger, and fight the urge to get started, to allow the appropriate amount of time to let a young lady get ready, and in the right frame of mind.

Well, here's my take on it.

"Erica" is a persona; like a role, and it's not My Real Name (MRN). I have a background in theatre, dance & stage performance; I approach getting ready for an appointment the way I used to get ready for a theatre performance. I was classically trained in "Method" acting, as taught by Stanislavsky, Stella Adler, & the Actor's Studio. Characters all have back stories & motivations. Makeup, hair, costuming..."Erica" is a top to toe, from the inside out preparation. It's more than the need for a quick shower, I'm 'getting into character'. Letting go of MRN's insecurities, stresses & anxieties & slipping into Erica's effervescent & upbeat mood. Incomplete preparation leads to an imperfect performance, and that means less than terrific reviews. Happily, I've never had a bad one; I have always chosen not to work on days when I can't get there..I guess I've always had plenty of notice opportunity and desire to deliver what I advertise! Working more/taking shorter appointments/offering specials/no notice would all affect how I do what I do...I'm glad I don't have to do that!

I've seen those theatre skills in action!! :clap2: I highly recommend Ms E.. especially for the roleplay connoisseurs out there. I enjoy roleplay as well but I'm at a novice level meanwhile this lady is at the master level :thumb:
