Sheik from Terb on Perb

For those who don't know, Sheik is one of the original Mods on Terb, and has 18,725 posts going back to Terb's birthday 08-19-01.
He's here to try and transition Perb back to some sense of order.
If you look at his posting history here, he was here briefly during this board's formation in '02, but has been absent (apart from 07-04 when Terb was upgrading) since then.
He is very fair, but takes no nonsense.
Terb generally has a much lighter tone (there are much more "fun" threads in the lounge, and political discussion has it's own section) with less flaming, due in part to Sheik's work.
We should welcome him here, for however long it takes. The fact that Fred actually posted more than once in a thread is a good sign in itself.
(There were relevant threads to post this in, but they keep getting locked up).

Personally, I like knowing that a mod is interested in decorum on this board and fairness.

I think Sheik could be just the person to whip our booties back into shape (mine is already pretty fine but I'm always up for improvement )

Perb has some issues that need to be addressed at least from many SPs perspectives, (which is the only perspective I can speak of as that is from the perspective I look at it from) thought this is first and foremost an ESCORT review board and should be held as such I KNOW for a fact that many SPs are frightned to post on perb. They feel they need to be in "character" and so therefore they do not post.

I think it is very interesting when you get to see a full perspective of ideas on perb coming from the girls, the boys and everyone around (minus the trolls.....they can pound it).

This is a great board because they actually respond to rules, dislike negativity unless founded and take action accordingly. No board is perfect but I checked out the "other board" this morning when I was burning my flax bread and I saw how hostile it is. I WAY prefer the perb vibe but this is an opinion and not an attack on another board so please....chill! if the member from "the other board" are reading this.

Perb can get that way (hostile at times), agreed, but it is nice that we ATTEMPT to maintain a level of decorum that "other boards" do not have interest in.

There is always room for improvement and I think with his experience, Sheik is a great guy to kick start that and to him, I give him a warm SP welcome as a new mod.

Good to see you Sheik

Being a longtime Terb member, and an advertiser. I would like to give my 2cents on Sheik. While everyone has their complaints, I have not only found Sheik to be informative, but also very helpful and fair. There is nothing I can say bad about him and I have lots of good stuff to say about him.

He has helped me many times in the past by offering his great wisdom and support. Even when I didn't ask for it. When I have ever asked for help he has always been there. I recommend that every lady on this board take some time and get to know Sheik a little and the other MODs. Sheik is a longtime veteren and will always have my respect.

Its great to see your always around to try and make things better.

Some threads need to be shut down.
Case in point, the thread by Lady Companion about her being assaulted and possibly robbed. She provided valuable information to the other women here that was directly relevant to their safety. So far, so good. But then it deteriorated into a bunch of childish nonsense and worse-refer to the Criminal Code on "Counselling to Commit an Indictable Offense" and "Conspiracy to Commit an Indictable Offense".
If the assault had been carried out, the police could have made things very hard for Fred Z.
