There is not enough competition in the businesses of cable, phone service, and internet service. All you have to do is look at the quarterly profits made by Bell, Rogers and Shaw and Telus.
Either the Canadian government breaks up the companies to get better competition. Its really obvious these companies are overcharging on their plans.
So what is happening with 5G?
Rural area cell phone coverage?

Well I guess I'm a little behind the times with 4G. Read up on some 6G stuff, think its the AI terminator field of endeavors.... Are we letting the AI out of Pandora's Box? If 4G can stream video from you cable box, that should be enough. It seems good enough to play games online. The current standard is 5G right now. But for me 4G works for gaming and video download. So why do you need it faster. Are we gonna need faraday cages for our houses for all that radio bandwidth for 6G?

Sometimes the trick works where you select the option that you are a new customer wanting to sign up and usually they pick up those calls the fastest. And if they use same customer service reps then when you get connected, you can just state your issues as an existing customer. But this doesn't work with all companies as some use different reps and the sign-up rep might have to transfer you to another rep and you might get put on hold which might be faster than regular hold queue or might just put you in the same queue as if you had selected that option while calling yourselves anyway.
Thats just it though. I'm NOT a customer.
