I think this forum may be a truer bell weather.
The sex industry is a huge driver (excuse pun) of all things tech (apps, media, storage, bandwidth) but that hasn't translated to devices aka "teledildonics".
As Hysteria (related article) playfully presented; when it comes to devices women are the trend setters.
