Not sure if you live in Vancouver or not, but if so, I come to the city about every 5 or 6 weeks myself. Should be down there in around 3 weeks, and be glad to meet up for a meal. Being a single guy from out of town, my evenings are usually pretty open while I'm in Vancouver.
While this doesn't help right away, let me know if interested when I'll be there. Not much of a drinker, but known to grab a beer occasionally as well.

Update for those who are interested. I appreciate everyone of you who responded. I ended up having a very nice car and driver come pick me up. Took a completely random stranger out for some fine dining and she told me I had to take her to No.5 orange. Met some other very cool people and got a few crazy amazing lapdances(have never had one before last night) was a bit of a kid in a candy store so I spent more than I probably should have but it was a blast and definitely worth it. You guys are the best. Thank you.

I know what it's like to be alone.
I can spend weeks without seeing another person, my longest was three months without human contact.
This is due to my location, occupation, and environment.....I tend to keep busy looking after my stock, or building something to make my life easier, or more convenient.
When the Tomato soup can starts talking back to me.....I know it's time too go to town, as I do enjoy the company of my fellow man.
There would be times I would envy you, as you have access to entertainment , and social events, that are hours from me....if I have access at all due to snow conditions.
If the roads are bad, I have my dog, the Internet , or the wind for company...perhaps next time I'm in town, I will buy you a beer, and we can tell each other a few lies, and have a few laughs.

Very much less than normal....even in the high country, and I'm concerned about our water volumes come August.

Just a fraction of our usual snowfall in Revelstoke as well so far.
Bought a new tractor with snowblower attachment this fall, so of course we aren't getting much snow

Confirmed, a walk can cause shrinkage of one's "big problem".
