I'm on Telus High speed turbo and i got 7021 kbps up and 761 kbps down...

So I finally got a hold of Telus after being on hold for 33 minutes, getting disconnected and being on hold for another 35. They did a whole bunch of stuff on their end and Im still running the same shitty speed. Something told me to check the SO's computer and she's getting around 6000 down and 800 up. I assumed this might be related to the copious amounts of porn I watch, so to be on the safe side I ran virus and spyware tests and all came back negative for any infections.

HELP! IT TAKES FOREVER TO DOWNLOAD PORN AND ITS DRIVING ME NUTS!

How do you connect to the internet? By the look of it, you are using a router. Update its firmware. Is 6meg = 6000? How did you analyze these?

How do you connect to the internet? By the look of it, you are using a router. Update its firmware. Is 6meg = 6000? How did you analyze these?

Telus Gigaset modem/router. The problem doesnt appear to be firmware related as my SO's works just fine at the proper speeds. Are there any other settings that I should be adjusting?

Your computer is older than your SO's can also be a problem! Any computer within your network using internet tv can also be a problem!

Upload Speed: 497 kbps (62.1 KB/sec transfer rate)

I was on Extreme speed and changed to high speed when the upped the download. Fast enough for me.
