I have to really wonder why Canadians are so obsessed about Trump in the USA running the show when in Canada we have a complete idiot running the country who got elected via style over actual substance.

For me, its not a matter of caring more about Trump and USA politics over our groper-in chief soy boy embarrassment of a PM. I've come to the understanding that there's really nothing we can do about Mr.Peoplekind, until the ballot box comes this fall. Turdeau has already bribed the media to be on his side with his 595 million dollar slush fund for 'approved' media outlets. Millennials are too busy virtue signalling and getting high on legal weed to see through his blunders and lies, which are consistently covered up by CBC and mainstream media.

I'm not as obssessed as most of my friends. What I find, is most of the people I know only receive one side of every piece of reporting. They watch and listen to CNN, which I think gives as distorted a view as Fox does on the opposite side of the spectrum.

I try read and look at Liberal (Democrat) and Conservative sites and not only are the views different, but the distillation of events can offer a persepective. that might make you think maybe things aren't always one-sided.

Just look at how the incident with the Covington high school students was presented initially, and how people jumped on the bandwagon, until more videos and information came out, which told a different story, and how, even now people insist they saw something that didn't happen, just to score political points. Earlier, it was the Buzzfeed fiasco.

Don't judge things if you only get one side of a story.

I don't suppose people within the Trump administration lying about not having ties to Russia then finding out many of them did have ties to Russia, Trump forced by congress to apply sanctions against Russia despite him not wanting to, no action or investigation from the republicans looking into Russian medalling in the election despite evidence they did, Trump siding with Putin instead of with his own intelligence department over Russian election involvement, nothing to any of that just coincidence. But Hillary's emails, LOCK HER UP.

Every politician lies. Every politician has secret dealings. But corruption isn't enough to impeach - treason is.

So therein lies the factor of convenience.

Joe Biden had a son who died of cancer, in the prime of his life.
Roger Stone posted that it was a shame he didn't liveclonger so heccould have suffered more.
Gloating over the death of someone's son, that is the kind of person Stone is. Stone is the kind of person Trump likes.
The whole bunch are scumbags, far beyond the majority in Canadian politics.

The emoluments clause outlining how #45 has profited while in office may hurt the presidency more than any other allegations. The lawsuit is proceeding in district court and may be impeachable.

Fascinating. They are just trying to dig through every hole for an excuse.

Still, it'd be easier to impeach on treason, which is where they want this investigation to land. Corruption will take longer than his term to ploughthrough.

Yes. Canadian politicians just love canning free speech and spending money until Canadians are broke.

I'd take the asshole over bad legislation any day.

CNN eh! You forgot to mention Hillary's emails and might as well make some reference to Venezuela also to complete the right wing popular talking points
You gotta be fair and logical. Being illogically biased never ends well for anyone anywhere. To claim this guy was an organized crime mob and needed to be raided by fully armed FBI agents SWAT style, like an armed terrorist cooped up in a drug house with guns and bombs, is a stretch and you know it if you put aside your passion for labeling people left wing or right wing. I don't give rats about Roger Stone, Hillary or Trump either way, come back to earth.

Stone went to shooting range on Alex Jones show and said a bunch of stupid things.
He gave them plenty of reasons to go all gangbusters.

To claim that the FBI only raids terrorists in this fashion is a stretch. Its standard operating procedure for many other suspects also.

This entire affair with Trump since even before his election has been dominated by dishonest journalism. News is no longer reliable information for current events. For or against Trump, if you're spending your time reading news, you're being fed partial or misinformation.

There are so many subtextual things that are not reported, and things that are being reported often lack context.

Maybe in protest all media should just print blank newspapers for a day.....

Why would the American population vote for a man that declared bankruptcy (more than 2 times) and paid creditors cents on dollar, all while maintaining his own personal wealth.....

If he is such a honest man, why wouldn't he allow his taxes to be seen by the public (which most candidates for president have done for the last 25 years).

The man must have dementia because he can not be a liar. He has said he has never said certain things and the press had proved him wrong with video tape.

My first introduction to seeing Trump was on TV's the Apprentice. You could see his lust for power; as he criticized failures and then fired the person. He enjoyed it; because it boosted his ego....

Proving that the people backing Clinton still don't get it.

Trump is a blowhard, a liar and a showman, with dubious grasps on issues, but he wasn't/isn't a professional politician.

At the time, a lot of people who had been lied to over and over by career politicians were sick of being told Hillary was going to be president because she was a Clinton, she was a woman, she was going to make history, and her opponent was a fool who had no chance.

Sometimes, when you tell people what will happen, rather than tell them why it should happen, those people turn on you.

We're now seeing more career politicians, who have been in government long enough to somehow become millionaires, and who change their policies to suit the moment, criticizing Trump for doing the same. The blatant left-leaning mainstream media, who will do and say anything anti-Trump, look more like arms of the Democratic Party, not unbiased news organizations, which further erodes credibility.

People voted for Trump because they rather have an unscripted blatant liar than a scripted conniving liar.

Clinton played too much identity politics. She was her own undoing.

Yet, she won 3M more popular votes than #45.

Data analytics for the Republicans zeroed in on states which were very close and won key electoral college votes.

Strategically representing wide geographic interest is more important than popular vote. Having more popular vote because large states like California leans to you is a quick way to isolate the rest of the country.

The thing I most remember about the campaign was that about a week before voting Trump makes a comment about that if he loses, it would be because of voting machines being rigged. Then the Hilary email report came from the FBI that went to congress....

polarized politics from government workers should not happen during an election....

And I found it very suspicious that states that normally voted democrat were won by a slim margin, just enough to swing the vote....Its just that when that happens normally there are alot more people changing their votes. If I was watching for voting fraud I would be concentrating on swing states and other states that were undecided.....

So 4 or 5 states are flipped in certain strongholds and the election is won........

So on a electronic voting machine, which list all voters by alphabetical order, I would flip between 5 to 7 % of stronghold votes to change. Maybe all the Q's and U's would flip.......just enough to alter the election.....
