This may seem a bit obscure to people that are newer to the Vancouver area, or are from other parts of Canada (or the world), but here in British Columbia... Jim Robson was part of the cultural fabric of this place.... for 30 YEARS! A lesser description than that is not realistic.
And this was during a time (the 70's to the 90's) when the culture was much more collective than it is now... Damn near EVERBODY was watching/listening to the Canucks at times... particularly the 1994 Cup run - and Jim was the voice of all of that. From Stan Smyl to Trevor, Kirk and Pavel.... Jim Robson was an integral part of it all.
