The demand for discounts is..just another power play by males.
Don't hijack the original post context. I didn't frame it as any sort of demand or power play. I asked for people to share their specific experiences, not a general discussion of right or wrong. You want to rant about discounts or make it a gender issue, start your own thread.
I shop at the same grocery store. Should I get a discount? No.
You don't? Maybe you "shouldn't" but Superstore, Save-On-Foods,... they are smart to offer "discounts" in the form of loyalty programs.
And do you insist on paying full price for items that are advertised on Sale in the flyer?
And you already got your repeat-client loyalty discount at the gym when you signed up for a long contract at a lower rate instead of paying as you go. I bet the women who got the same deal don't think of it as "power play by males" either.
If you start naming every possible business, of course not every instance of each industry is going to have an incentive program or discount or what not. But many do. Big ones and smart ones definitely do especially in a time when online businesses are muscling in.
Not going to bother going through the rest of your list.
As for the escort business in particular, if repeat clients are not that common to begin with -- and my perception is that it is not, given how many "to do list" type mentions I see in reviews -- then the perspective on low-repeat or no-repeat clients asking for discounts will be different. Which is why I qualified my question post with repeat clientele, definitely not with one-shot visits.

Now that the thread has been hijacked and everyone's posturing about how above loyalty incentives they are, no one who actually has any experience to share is going to dare post anything.
If anyone did want to answer the original post as intended -- specific instances (and hopefully some perspective on what they learned from it) -- they can PM me.
I thank Lady Companion for actually having read the original post and answering the question.
