An electrical emergency alert was declared in Alberta last night as cold temperatures pushed electrical demand to a record high. Seems that solar panels and wind farms weren’t quite up to the task. What a surprise.
We have a Western power grid although includes the western United States. We have lots of Hydro electricity to sell to Alberta and Sask. for that matter. Just need a Western power grid.
maybe when you get rid of your HYPOCRITE PROVINCIAL GOV'TWe have lots of Hydro electricity to sell to Alberta and Sask. for that matter. Just need a Western power grid.
So pray tell, how many household appliances, T.Vs., lights, computers, telephones, etc., do you guys have thatplus we have enough NG, we'll never need to
I might be wrong here but I think mr bodine is from Manitobamaybe when you get rid of your HYPOCRITE PROVINCIAL GOV'T
the one who is telling the Natives that the pipeline he likes has all it's permits, has all the bands along the way signed up, it's going through no matter what
unlike the same one farther south with all the same conditions, approved, native groups signed up, ect....
you know the line, little LNG plant is going to blow your emissions out of the water right? lol
not that they're going down anyway, lol
or don't you believe your own gov't numbers? lol
the enviro groups do
it would be political suicide to buy power from BC in Alberta
dream on
plus we have enough NG, we'll never need to

So, what you’re saying is we need to build more solar and wind plants to meet the energy demands created by climate change, which is caused by relying on fossil fuels instead of investing in renewable energy? An electrical emergency alert was declared in Alberta last night as cold temperatures pushed electrical demand to a record high. No what I’m saying is it’s foolhardy to think that solar power and wind farms aren’t up to the task to provide the necessary electricity required. I was under the impression climate change was supposed to make the weather warmer not end up in a deep freeze. I think there’s a disconnect somewhere. So, what you’re saying is we need to build more solar and wind plants to meet the energy demands created by climate change, which is caused by relying on fossil fuels instead of investing in renewable energy?
The global average temperature goes up, with higher volatility which means more extreme temperatures at different parts of the world. There is no disconnect. No what I’m saying is it’s foolhardy to think that solar power and wind farms aren’t up to the task to provide the necessary electricity required. That's like saying the person pulling the fire alarm when the building is on fire, should be the one to figure out how to put out the fire. Come on people.Call Greta....I am sure she can come up with a solution....
Probably more than the ones that run on water, coal, diesel, or nuclear fission. So pray tell, how many household appliances, T.Vs., lights, computers, telephones, etc., do you guys have that
run on natural gas ???
I see. The global average temperature goes up so we’re having record cold temperatures. That makes no sense but people believe what they believe, regardless of the evidence. The global average temperature goes up, with higher volatility which means more extreme temperatures at different parts of the world. There is no disconnect.
they run on electricity, which in Alberta, most of the world is produced by coal/NG/Oil, in general, 85% of the world production is still using themSo pray tell, how many household appliances, T.Vs., lights, computers, telephones, etc., do you guys have that
run on natural gas ???
just assumed he was from BC, lolI might be wrong here but I think mr bodine is from Manitoba
Well, you always have the option to let yourselves freeze in the dark.
dream on, the world will never be able to build enough solar and wind plants to meet demandSo, what you’re saying is we need to build more solar and wind plants to meet the energy demands created by climate change, which is caused by relying on fossil fuels instead of investing in renewable energy?
