The snakeheads loan money to potential victims to enable them to come to Canada.

Once they get here they struggle with the high cost of living and eventually
Fall behind in loan payments. It is at that point they realize that they have
To perform on the loan or family members back in China will suffer.

The girls are trapped and ask for help with employment and better pay
This is when the snakeheads organize them at their request into prostitution

Might be one in thirty who get trapped like this but of course very unpleasant for
Those in this situation.

They eventually get paid up and go their own way.

I have more an issue with luxury real estate agents' incomes or that of investment "advisors"
yes, but that's only because they won't give you a blowjob for $80...talk about "confirmation bias"
I don't think you'd have any issues with a luxury real estate agent or investment "advisor" who enveloped your cock in her mouth
To me, your response is a perfect example of a non sequitur.

Good article from SWAN Vancouver.

Do Evidence-Based Approaches Alienate Canadian AntiTrafficking Funders?

"Although SWAN Vancouver works with women who are often perceived to be trafficked (i.e. Asian women in sex work), it is rare for members of SWAN Vancouver to come across any case in the sex-work sector that has the hallmarks of trafficking, such as coerced work."

I think if we accept sex work as a legitimate trade, as I expect we here generally do, then there's got to be the full gamut of experience in this trade as there would be in any line of work. The head chef at a posh restaurant and the fry cook at McDonald's are both in the food industry and both there by choice, but one is probably feeling a lot better about themselves and their career than the other. That said while most fast food fry cooks may dream of moving to better things, a paycheque is a paycheque for the time being and they'd probably still appreciate having the option of keeping their job because the benefit outweighs the burden, and certainly they'd appreciate it if others didn't pity or block their choice.

So in that regard it would definitely be a greater benefit to society to fine tune the concern to legitimate trafficking (coercive) situations just as it would be a benefit if C-36 was a little more discriminatory between coercive and consensual prostitution.

Wow...That was so well written and explained, even I understood it.
Your saying they've painted everyone with the same brush?
