OK, that is better than dumb blond eh?

So, when I do a 'capture print' where do the pictures go?

Ya know, I am viewing a video and I want a still picture of a particular scene so I press control PrtSc and the little square thing shows around my play button for a couple of secs and then.......................................

Where do I find them?

Thank you for any help, written in simple English easy enough for a 7 year old to understand! Drawings help

Do you have a Sniping Tool on your computer, or you can install that. It's easier than capture print. Look under your programmes to see if you have it.\

The Microsoft Snipping Tool is a reviewer's best friend. This is a little application that might go unnoticed, but I am telling you; it is a time-saver. This tool allows you to carry out a simple task: take screenshots of your screen. I know there is a button that reads something like Prt Scr in your keyboard and that it will take a screenshot of your screen and take it to the clipboard. There is something better than that. When you activate the Snipping Tool, you can select a part of your screen with your mouse and it will be captured. That capture can either go to the clipboard or to a file. You can even select what type of file you want it to be saved to. I have to get screenshots of applications all the time, and pasting a screen capture into a graphics editor and then cropping it, all it takes me about a minute. I can do the same work in less than 2 seconds. Snipping Tool makes me more productive and that is always good. Microsoft Snipping Tools is a free application that comes with Windows Vista. If you don't have Windows Vista, you can get it if you have XP.

SnagIt is good & they offer a free trial. It also comes with an image editor.

If you're trying to post it online or even add it in a doc, you can use Gyazo.
They host your image and you get a link right away. Super easy to use.

Wow! Thanks I will investigate...my next question was going to be "where is the clip board?" I know where it is in a Word Processor, but not anywhere else.

I know this is a lot of questions, but, I downloaded Corel Print house photo shop cause it is the one I was used to on my old computer (but I had all the disks) and I tried to find it in downloads but didn't see it as it was titled, ya know, Corel etc. so I clicked on some installer icon in my download and that swirly thing that says it is loading just won't go away. It is still swirling and I cannot stop it even when i try to X out. I do now see the Corel thing but it is titled as a number and cause the swirly thing won't stop I cannot click on it.

The Corel thing uses 497,258 KB of memory, is that a lot? Nothing on my notebook is that big

OMG!!

I just went through my programs and found tons of info! Ha Ha! I should take my hair colour one step lighter!

I actually have a built in camera thing and there is a picture of a camera where if I poke the button it will take a shot. It says "Webcam optimized". It is just a little square and not as big as the whole screen but it shows just how shitty I look with my face bent over a computer screen. I will have to remember to always lift my head up when doing CG.

I didn't find the Snippy thing though and that sounds like a great tool to use while viewing film footage from my camera.

When I go into the programs I wonder which closet it would be in or is it by itself on a label that says "Snippy thing"

I better spend an evening just going through this notebook (acer) and find out what it does.

I found a paint place but when I tried to crop it didn't give me an option to keep the cropped section, at least no where I recognized.
