Even if we were, it's rather hard to be in 100+ places at once all over a city like Toronto, with thousands of protesters, police and bystanders. I doubt one person can witness all of it on their own.


I am also decidedly not watching the same news you are. But unfortunately I get a sense that you're all not interested in what wasn't covered by mainstream media even if I've included tons of videos + articles in reference to my posts and there are many more available if one wants to find them. That's the best I can do, if you all choose not to check it out, not much I can do about it.

The argument was our rights are being taken away.

I presented examples where our rights are not only protected, but seen to be well looked after by the courts and Charter.

I think arguing that actions at one, never-to-be-seen-again event in Toronto is prooof "the Man" is removing the Rights of Canadians is the real Fail.

I don't recall ever making such an argument. As I asked island-guy to do, please show me a post of mine in which I made comments about some "prooof "the Man" is removing the Rights of Canadians". Or about some "proof" of anything or anyone else that is not specifically related to the current issue in Toronto. I haven't made any such comments and I never made that connection...but you did.

CSIS does NOT do surveillance on citizens of Canada.

They are specifically tasked with dealing with people who are NOT citizens of Canada, ONLY.

The RCMP has their own task forces for dealing with citizens of Canada within Canada.

What CSIS has been doing, is keeping track of the FOREIGN trouble-makers who came to Canada specifically to cause trouble for the G20 conference.

So, you can put on your tinfoil hat and believe Mr Protester if you want, but he's either lying or totally clueless about what he's talking about.

Actually, you're misinformed about what or who CSIS investigates.
They are involved with much more than you are describing. Who they investigate isn't determined on nationality/citizenship at all.
