As I said, asian women are not plastic dolls for him to dress up with blue eyeshadow and black stockings, and submit to his will and ego. That is why I wish one upon him, since he clearly cannot see women are all different, have their own opinions and dreams, but those don't interest him. your ideals are more fantasy based than reality. many of these women's bottom line is they like to shop; shop for high-end brand names - but they don't have the education, or status, to get to the jobs that pay the big bucks, or to get a well heeled husband to provide for them.

it's easy for pretty, young women in all parts of the world, and especially Asia, to get what they want with relatively little effort by putting out; or if that's not the initial issue to be tricked into borrowing money, with limited ways to pay back the high interest "curb" loans - then comes the intimidation and a way out.

Either way its a no-win situation, for a long-term relationship, unless the woman can bring something to the table besides sex and clean windows.

Doesn't anyone ever consider that these woman could be forced to work against there will and possibly sold into the sex trade. There's always the possibility but the majority of them are here willingly. I think Susi posted something about that somewhere. Some of them are already sex workers in their own country and are past their prime, so they come here. Some are students, some earn money here to send back to family back home.

I would agree, most were/are sex worker isn their original country; and on average they keep the younger, more attractive, or most cultured and we get the left overs.

Some Koreans might be an exception as they would be too embarrassed be be found out in their home country - but it's OK here.

As for feeling sorry for them: one I knew was sending back $3K a week so she could buy a BMW, and help her mom out; another was buying not just an apartment, but was in a group who were planning on buying the whole apartment building ...

They can expediate their hopes and dreams because they get so much more $$$ here.

I always find Pillowtalk’s contributions provocative, though in this case not well-reasoned. I never made claims about “all” Western women—just those that are realistically likely to be interested in a certain demographic of older, not overly pecunious pooners.

Nor is it fair to imply that I treat Asian ladies as “dress up dolls with no brains." It’s precisely because my experience makes me respect many Asian ladies for their intelligence, goals and dreams of their own that I find myself attracted to them.

Do I believe quite a few older micro girls would appreciate some white knight to rescue them from their situation in life? Absolutely. And yes, I find blue eye shadow and black stockings appealing—most Asian girls don’t have the slightest problem with this.

2. Would you still consider 'rescuing' her if she was was say 40lb heavier or 10 years old, cause if not this is fairly superficial on so many levels.

3. Do you even know her, or is she just a pretty face?

4. What is it about you that makes rescuing her something you want to do? Is it merely a desire to "bag" a beautiful woman who would normally be out of your league, or are there less selfish motives at play?

Believe me, I've quite a few female Asian friends- a few of them appear to be lovely, angelic and perfectly quaint. They're not. I pity the men who end up marrying them. It's a bit of a cultural thing, but how abundantly stuffed your wallet is- that's the first thing they want to know. Then they want to know how many coach and LV bags you'll buy em.
