Privacy Warning: Facebook and Skype Mobile App

While browsing facebook tonight, I saw a curious sight on the right in the suggested friends pane: An SP I had seen a long time ago who I happened to have added in my phone contacts. I recognize her face from her ads. It appears the facebook app on my phone scanned through my phone contacts to suggest people. I dug into this further, and it seems by default facebook allows your phone number tied to your FB account to be searchable by everyone. I immediately changed this setting in my FB account. Here's how you can do it:

I have a similar privacy concern with the skype mobile app. When you sign into this app, it will scan your phone contacts and suggest accounts to add. With this feature, I was able to find out what seems to be the real name of an SP, who I easily found on facebook, including pics of her and her child. If you don't want people to be able to look you up or add on you skype, go into settings on the mobile app, and under privacy there's an option called "manage how people find me." Uncheck any phone numbers to prevent people from finding and adding you via those numbers. I meant to bring this up sooner, but forgot about it till tonight with the incident on facebook.

If anyone has come across any similar privacy issues, please do share.

Escorts should never be on facebook. It's only a matter of time til someone finds out and blows your cover. Where do you think all the crap on the dirty comes from?

Anyone who has ANY privacy concerns should stay the hell off facebook.

I rarely use fb and don't post often. I just browse to look at the pop ups or see what a couple friends or family member are doing. I've had a client pop up a few times, I think because I used to email him from my personal email. This was years ago though. Just the one face still pops up as someone I might know. I d never understood the Facebook fad, or Twitter to be honest, but here I am tweeting away. Twitter is more to show I'm a reAl human and not as intimidating as i come off to some. I've been told I'm intimidating, so Twitter softens me up a bit, I think. Me thinks. ?? Who knows, but I agree escorts should be careful maintaining a Facebook account.

The problem is SP's use their personal phones for SP biz. When I was looking at my FB "who you might know" thread it had a few ladies I have seen in recent memory. I know they usually have ghetto burner phones for biz and a good personal phone. When they decide to use their personal phone it should be with a trustworthy client IMHO. If they only have one phone then they should be available via email only.
