Long time lurker who recently joined.
I had been considering trying manscaping for a while (trim above, shaved below and around base style), and took the plunge the other day after seeing Laurel Love's advice on how to explain to SO.
With four days of experience with the new look and all due respect to David Letterman here are my top 5 reasons I'm enjoying the new look:
#5-Easy cleaning and maintenance;
#4-Felt really good shaving there-especially when SO did the first reshave!;
#3-Being shaved feels nice and naughty;
#2-Based on feedback on the thread and reaction of SO, women seem to like it a lot with a much greater interest on what they can do for junior; and
Drum roll please.....
#1-Would seem to make a guy look close to an inch bigger-a big bonus for those of us in the more average part of the range!!!!!
