Lots of conversations here regarding these two topics recently. Let's do a very simple poll here.

Will you still seek the services of an SP (massage or escort) at least once from now until Apr. 30th?

For the record, I have voted No and I hope I don't break my own promise. Self-control...self-control...

No, the thing is, as a low risk person due to my age, I could still have it and have mild symptoms making me a risk to the vulnerable population, as much as I love snu-snu, pornhub it is! I'll follow the guidelines as prescribed.

If I see, it will be one of my regulars. But that if is quite big, for now. My l little head can turn 180 degrees in no time. Last time I played was a duo around Jan 28th so it's been over 6 weeks and I am one of the worst when it comes to self-cumtrol. :)

Much as I would love to soothe my mind that way, no. Much as there are some new SP's I really wanted to see, and regulars I wanted to revisit, no.
If I am being told that just going to a grocery store or pharmacy is a terrible risk, then why would I risk going anywhere for intimate contact with anyone.
Right now, cam-girls and PornHub will have to suffice.

If people still want to see SP, then go ahead be selfish. Not only are you putting yourself and the SP health at risk but also other clients health at risk too. And if they are from an Agency, you are also putting them in danger too.

I know quite a bit of SP's rely on this for money. But they also should be honest, professional and stay healthy. If they care about their clients, and if clients cared about them, they would stop until this has blown over. But if paying for some poon is worth more then your health and others health as well, all the power to you.

Absolutely not. It goes against the advice of almost every health official in the developed world. I know there's some real hot takes on Perb, but for fuck's sake I hope people are following the near-universally prescribed advice instead of the conspiracy theorists on Facebook or an AMP advertiser that's worried about lost revenue. True, you'd be hard pressed to find an official statement regarding sex work, but it doesn't take many brain cells to deduce that it falls well outside the scope of social distancing and self isolation. I'm not worried about myself catching it (which realistically I probably will eventually), but there's no way I'm not going to do everything I can during a global health crisis. You don't think that if it weren't for the grey legality that every AMP and indie would be ordered to close along with all the gyms, restaurants and bars?

Secondly, I'm already losing work, my job security isn't too bad (yet) but I'm definitely concerned about what this means for my industry. I'm being far more tight with money than I was just one week ago.

Well I sure was naive six hours ago, looks like unless there's a drastic change I'm laid off as of next Friday.

At least 3/4 of respondents are thinking with their big heads and not their small heads like the 1/4 of them.

Can anyone explain how seeing a "regular" would in any way be safer than seeing someone new?

So we need to lay low for a while, but the real question is when are you comfortable to get back on the horse?
a) the numbers of new cases starts to decline, or no more new cases each day, but there are still lots of existing cases out there
b) the cases are cleared to zero, covid is under control, (which is what China claims for some of its regions as of now). Some social distancing may be lifted, some restaurants, bars, sport venues and schools will re-open
c) covid vaccine is available, covid is defeated globally, all business back to usual. This could be 1-1.5 years from now.

Personally I will be comfortable with (b).
