Random question: Is it socially acceptable to ask a SP to put their phone 'away' until the end of the session? This is a bit annoying for me as I hate distractions (but I am trying not to seem rude either). Thoughts?

no because of emergencies, you could ask her to put it on silent...i have mine where my emergency contact is the only # thats allowed to have a ringer tone...so whenever it beeps, it needs to be attended to.

I believe what Girth means by 'away' is to stop checking it, responding to texts, answering calls, etc. Many reviews have contained remarks about SP's responding to texts or taking calls during session; I remember one where it was done while riding cowgirl. Personally, I believe the above to be not only socially unacceptable but a bad business practice. It might influence whether I considered seeing that person.

My phone is on silent during a session but my favourites family & close friends) are on 'do not disturb'. This feature, will activate the ringer after repeated attempts to reach me in a short period of time, ie an emergency.

I plug mine into the charger in the living room, then make sure the ringer is off, then ask the gentleman to follow me upstairs. I have a client who texts me repeatedly during my day to day, and one of the constant demands is "Are you going to call me when you're fucking a big cock?' Well..NO! because that would be so disrespectful of the other client! (unless you are into that...)

I think both the sp and the gentleman visiting her should have their phones away and on silent. Not just because it's rude, but I also find it extremely unnerving when a client pulls out his phone to start doing something on it in front of me, either at the beginning or end of our visit. My privacy is extremely important to me and with smart phones being what they are today it wouldn't be all that difficult to video tape or take pictures of someone without them knowing it. You can find some interesting tips on Youtube. Even if the intention is purely innocent, just seeing the phone out makes me feel uneasy. For me it's not only rude but it's also a safety/privacy issue.

Check your closet..:)
"Are you going to call me when you're fucking a big cock?"

I guess it all depends on what Miss E defines what a big cock is...
I doubt you'll ever get a call anyway...LOL

Some SP's I know have there phone on and it doesn't really bother me. Mine is off.

Cheers

Probably one of my biggest complaints is the phone issue.

I 100% get the safety thing. Physically checking a phone during a session is rude. Unless there is a rock solid reason, it should be out of sight.

Having your eyes rolled back in their sockets while receiving an off the hook BBBJ should never have the fantasy diminished by seeing the SP one handed texting a friend on Facebook. Talented, yes and rude yes.

I've had a duo with someone before (not one of my regular ladies) and they were checking their phone for half the time until I told them to focus on what we are doing, not your next date. I found it very unprofessional and rude actually, my phone is always on silent, if it rings I ignore it when I am spending time with some one. I agree that privacy is very important and I prefer to have the visitor have their phone on silent unless they have an emergency situation, of course. :)

I agree with the concept that safety first and possibly the only defense for some SP's is to call for help.

The abuse of client time is a problem, particularly with the girls from asia. Not a racial remark just an observation of cultural issues. Probably combination of younger and asian but just my personal observation.

Should probably send them a not so subtle message in that on a $120 dollar fee, give them $100 in advance and tell them if they use their phone during the session you will not give them the $20 balance.

They will likely protest and claim they will not use their phone and want money in advance but be observant to this and not use the phone during the session.

Just a thought.

right here and now
I just posted a review regarding a girl that started reviewing her messages and then began texting as soon as I started going down on her and her hands were "free". Complete turn-off and piss-off, for sure. When she was done I picked up her phone from the bed and moved it away to a side table, to which action she gave me a dumfounded look and eye-roll. Really? I was out the door very soon after.

Sp picks up a phone during a session, I tend to say something, loudly.....usually " hey your period started," or " your fart had a lump in it." Not like I'd be coming back anyway.

Yeah - there's way too much going on with the cell, and I understand that they can make sounds during the session, it drives me nuts when a SP seems to be tinkering with it close to the end. Sometimes there is a bit more time for some more fun, but lately it seems to be more of a frequent distraction. Maybe I should just ask to keep it on silent when the session begins - I don't know - it just can come across as condescending.

First person to pick up their cell during a session pays for the appointment.

;)
Love it :D

Honestly, I could have a fair amount of free sessions if that rule were in place. LOFL :)

BTW I keep my phone in my pooner bag so I don't look at it til I am down on the street again.

Is this really that big of an issue? By the sounds of it, this is a real problem out there. I guess my question would be is why would an SP even consider fiddling with her phone during a session?

I think it is just common sense to leave your phone alone, but with the smart phone being your lifeline to everything now its not that easy to leave it down. But it is just rude to text during a session, whats next update your status on facebook,im getting fucked right now.

I guess we have become conditioned in that sense, maybe I had this false idea that if a client was maybe a little more selfless during a session, that the SP would react accordingly and not focus her attention elsewhere.

Personally, I've never had to deal with it, but it has to be very annoying for the clients.

Once I was with Melissa Lane in Langley. She was trying to turn the ringer off as i stepped out of the shower. It was a new phone and she just couldn't figure it out. So she just wrapped it in a big towel and shoved it into a closet so we didn't hear it. Talk about being a consummate professional!

Compare that to an SP constantly checking her phone while riding you.
