Same problem here!Hi all. Currently on my mobile.. can't log on to perb from my desktop computer. I keep getting a notice from "Apache Server Test Page."
Nothing to do with OS, browser or ISP -- apparently some ranges of IP's are being blocked/banned or something. As soon as I route my access through a proxy -- but what a royal pain in the derriere that is! -- I can get on. I hope our administrators take notice of this problem and get it fixed soon. Please help!it works fine with win 7 ultimate 64-bit, ie9, and telus.
try to put your modem and router back to factory default. then re-set. five minutes later, turn them off. five minutes later, turn them back on. if it still not good, either your isp or network is doing some blocking.Nothing to do with OS, browser or ISP -- apparently some ranges of IP's are being blocked/banned or something. what do you mean by bypass router? if novus is some kind of a firewall, then remove it from your comp. since you have a built-in firewall turned on by your OS.I have novus so I bypassed router with direct input. Same problem. How did u guys resolve
This issue?
Are you saying some of our ISP's are censoring this board? That would be outrageous! But why would they bother -- one could think of many sites that are more offending than this. And is that even technologically possible on their part? Wouldn't it be more logical that it's a PERB problem?Novus is the ISP that is built in to many of the downtown Vancouver buildings.
ISP has the power to block sites. It all depends on your terms of services and the contract that you bought. Why not use Telus or Shaw? They don't block these sites. In China, ISPs block facebook and twitter. Are you saying some of our ISP's are censoring this board? That would be outrageous! must be something to do with those accounts in the perbatory. So I bravely contacted the ISP and they walked me through some troubleshooting
Via cmd prompt ping the site and the ip add of site and it came back fine.
He assured me ISP did not block site cuz he accessed from his computer lol
I think the mods or webmaster has blocked a range of ip addresses and mine has been
Caught in this range. Mod or webmaster can you please see to this issue? Any advi e? Thx
