Time for another rumor dispelling post.
We only ban VPN using accounts when there is some proof that the handle is a reincarnation of a banned member or is simply a shit disturber/stalker/troll.
We do not ban everyone using the same IP address. Cell phone towers, public wifi spaces, there's lots of valid reasons for people to be using the same IP. However, when it's clearly a residential/single IP and there's half a dozen banned handles already there, yup, very easy to clear out the new ones too.
You want to appeal, email Fred Zed. It's rare but it's absolutely happened that admin can over rule the mods or come to an agreement with a banned member for a return.
If you have been banned on TERB for something nasty and we know your handle here is the same, you betcha you are going to get banned. There's no tolerance for certain offences, like assaulting a provider, stalking etc.
