Half the lounge posts get shut down
Half the reviews and 411's get shut down or disappear
Clearly only one (extreme) ideology is tolerated here.

WHEN YOUR A HAMMER, EVERYTHING LOOKS LIKE A NAIL.

Why bother writing reviews, contributing, or participating in discussions when there's a 50/50 chance our efforts will be erased without explanation.

I'm not alone in feeling this way - many members share my frustration and uncertainty
there are other sites and communities us perb members engage in.

As a long-time online enthusiast, I've seen my fair share of forums and moderation style
With decades of experience on various online communities and forums, I can confidently say that this platform's moderation is by far the most heavy-handed I've encountered.

I'm aware that this thread may not last long, but I'm taking a chance to appeal to the moderators: could you consider exercising a bit more flexibility in your moderation approach?

As much as I value the opinion of a multi handle troll who’s been banned numerous times and how tolerant we’ve been of your nonsense I find your claims ludicrous. The current moderation team is one of the most easy going compared to some of the original mods as I’m sure some of the older members can attest to. I actually find it quit fair and even handed. If anything, trolls probably get more of a benefit of the doubt than they deserve.

Sorry, but I have to say I haven't seen a bigger crock of crap in a very long time. First your math is truly fucked up. half? Less than 5%-10% of threads in the lounge get locked and always after everyone has had a chance to have their say, or it's the 100th iteration of what do I do when I see an SP in public or other such trope that's been done to death. Almost no lounge threads are ever deleted. period. As for reviews, again, at most 5-10% are removed, for rule violations, for being fake or insulting, or from a stalker or other valid reason. We get 100s of reviews each week. I cannot recall when even 10 were taken down in a week, it's always single digits. On top of which, posters self delete their reviews all the time, the mods didn't touch those ones at all.

I'll echo MB Mod, the mods here bend over backwards to be fair and will listen to anyone who has a complaint or a question. We have been dealing with an unprecedented run of trolls from a small group of "bros" who all have been banned many times and are spending a LOT of money on VPN services to hide behind. What a surprise, the poster of this idiotic diatribe is using a VPN from overseas from a place never used by another other poster here, ever. Just the very behavior the trolls I mentioned use.

These guys are not welcome here, we do our best to keep getting rid of them when they reveal themselves. They denigrate the ladies, fight with the guys who aren't of a similar age and attitude. Do their reviews get deleted when they get banned? You bet they do. Do their reviews get deleted when they become insulting, abusive and break all kinds of rules? You bet they do. Not going to apologize for that. Feel free to go elsewhere, troll bros, you really won't be missed.

-Perb is a privately owned enterprise, they can run it how they want. I agree with some of what you say, especially the missing posts. But it’s not for me to change.

- I avoid “The Lounge” like the plague, until my curiosity gets the better of me and I see something that is so stupid a comment is mandatory.
“Wisdom to know the difference.”
- Wisdom comes with age and experience. Here at Perb I take what I like and leave the rest. “Just the facts ma’am”, that’s all I need. Was the service good for what you paid? That’s all I need to know.
Would you go to Pizza Hut to get an oil change? No? Well why would you go to Perb for sociological opinions or relationship advice?

No complaints with mods. If I had one complaint or a thing I noticed change from previous years it would be a decline in new reviews and a surge in repetitive reviews popping up. A byproduct of rising prices or the demise of risk takers? Or a decline in risk taking due to rising prices?

OTOH I see "TOFTT" reviews on girls' "first days" all the time now, some even before they are actually advertised. Go figure.

I recall one thread started about a fairly well known mp sp & thinking it was odd because the same handle reviewed the same girl not long ago . A quick search revealed they had reviewed the same girl 3 times within a yr and that was literally the only activity on Perb . Periodic . I remember thinking it felt a bit sketchy . Well lo and behold a few months later when new Perbatory post revealed that the same handle had 9 handles and all 9 were leaving positive comments about or reviewing strictly all the same girl .

Gee I wonder who could have started all 9 handles ? 🙄

One of my friends is a store manager at a very high end store. He says many high end sellers in clothes, cars, appliances are very concerned. Younger people just do not buy high end product the way their parents did.
I personally don’t take risks in escorts. I know who I like and trust. If I want to try something new they hook me up with someone they know. My friends are the same.
So you are right on two counts:
-definite drop in upscale spending
-aging demographic that has tried almost everything and prefers reliability
Also younger people have far less disposable income.

Throwing in on this one:

Regarding my pooning, perb has been a major help, not only in finding much more of what I want but avoiding what I should have never considered in the first place. Not useful? No, very useful. For this pooner at any rate.

Re the fun aspect, I sure think there is enjoyment, almost always a few good belly laughs if not downright spit the coffee out the nose moments. But if one is following some of the threads where the trolls control, ie the political threads, the bullshit posted there could aggravate those who want to argue with randoms on the internet. Periodically I hit the un ignore button to view some of the shit posted there, acknowledge that questioning the ancestry of those doing that, is just fine, then hit the ignore button again and get on with finding my next lovely date.
