When he beat up the taxi driver for 50cents he supposedly paid the driver off with 100K
I,m sure the girl will settle for a couple Million...and for Kane that would be a super deal , seeing as he just signed a 85 mil deal.
If charged and convicted he will probably suspended immediately.....which i would like to see.
i think we the public/fans should be able to match whatever his lawyer is trying to bribe her with.

Not to make a spectacle of myself in the forum, I am assuming he's guilty as accused. Lots of rich athletes grow up on a steady stream of willing women and therefore assume when they come upon a girl who says no, she means yes. I know a girl who went to high school with one of the very best ever on ice and she claimed that he was both arrogant and full of himself, and considered himself a ladies man that no one could refuse. That was back in high school. So I would venture a guess that most every star hockey player grows up with a similar attitude when it comes to girls.

I wasn't there during the incident so cant say for sure what did or did not happen. High profile athletes have become an easy target. Ben Roethlisberger, Kobe Bryant etc . Hell , Even Mike Tyson says he didnt rape that girl and i believe him.

No I dont believe they were, I think it was consensual. Kobe was never charged and although Mike Tyson was I believe him when he says "i didnt rape that girl, im a bad person and have done other bad things deserving of jail but didnt do that".
Innocent until proven guilty does not mean innocent - a common misconception - it just means there is not enough evidence for conviction. Excellent Column ! Hero Worship is a fact in sports culture and I guarantee ten years ago and for a very long time before that this stuff was swept under the rugs and cops and prosecutors alike, looking for an autographs, and free tickets and wanting to be a hero to their heroes were complicit in cover-ups and more. It really is time men speak out against this and stop coming to the defense of football players and other jocks who think rape is okay.

I remember when he came to Vancouver, he said to reporters before the game something like, oh yea, i love coming to vancouver, I heard the girls are nice. Also, during after hours on CBC,as a guest he again said something like, yea, we are going to go out and enjoy the night and I hope girls come to see us .... !!
