Typical CBC bullshit about victimisation.

Pamela is a hypocrite for sure. She is an imbecile at best and would have got nowhere without her tits.
Nobody watched Barb Wire because it was intense drama.

Did she convert to Judaism?

Not sure why she would co-author and essay like that. It not likely that people will take her comments seriously .
It not that she was exploited by porn producers. She willingly exploited soft core porn to make her own fortune and notoriety.

It not that what they say is wrong ,porn deffinetly causes problems and exploit's of women on many levels.
And as many escorts might a test to , it gives guys a false idea of what sex and relationships are supposed to be.

The other side is it give many men and women a way of sexual release with out getting rejected . It helps with fantasies, and also has help to make a more sexually liberated society. That being said there are many people that want a sexually repressed society adhering to their religious beliefs. That most likely the reason for the rabbi comment in the essay. As for Pamela Anderson maybe her ideas on sex have changed too and she wants to repent.
But it still being a hypotheti , which is typical of any religious person.

You know you've reached rock bottom when you're borrowing a page from the GOP playbook. And all it does is perpetuate puritanical myths that porn and sex are dangerous substances that can easily lead men astray, like hard drugs.

And it's too bad, because Pam has done a lot of good work through PETA, which will now be discounted because of this ill-advised stand.

I want to first correct a point made above. PLA was famous long before she appeared in any tv series or Playboy magazine. In fact, she was famous the day she was born:

Also, I believe that porn can be destructive if taken to excess, just as any other vice like drinking, gambling or visiting SPs can be. The following movie showed how destructive a porn addiction can be to a normal relationship, even when your girl friend is Scarlett Johansson:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2229499/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_17

I watch porn myself, so I'm not saying that all porn is bad, only that PLA makes a good point that it can be destructive to a healthy relationship if taken to excess.

Got to agree with that... Also have to wonder just how the evolution of porn has affected the evolution of this industry. How many ladies are providing services pulled directly from porn because of client demand, not because they really want to supply it..but because if not them, then somebody else will.

I think Dan Savage has written much better about so-called porn and sex addictions, so I'll leave it up to you to Google his fine prose.

I agree about the industry, though. So many over-the-top demands that wouldn't exist without porn. I feel for the women out there.

So the woman who became famous and made millions because she made a couple of sex tapes and appeared on the cover of Playboy more than a dozen times is now calling the people who look at porn losers. Does she need to be reminded that these are the same men who are likely responsible for her fame and fortune. Fucking hypocrite.
Agreed - That's what makes this story so ironic. She made millions for years doing mostly soft core pornography (and some underground hard core pornography). If she had such problem with it, why did she speak out after she cashed in?

Well that was interesting.
Deffinetly explains good part of my problem.
I did over dose on Internet porn .That started about 15 yrs ago.and be for that I use to binge on porn videos.
Every few weeks I would rent 4 or 5 at the local video store and just watch hours of it at night .Then repeat for the next few nights. But only a few scenes would do any thing for me.. I was and am an addict in that sense. I NEED MY FIX. Now I don't do it for a week or so but still get drawn back to online porn .Just find bit harder to get something that gets me off.

I think that is partly why I started to escorts and when I first did I sometimes would have to see them a couple times a week ..once it was 5 times on 7 days..Definitely an addictive behaviour..At one point I was using a lot less porn and was very attracted to one girl. That kind-of helped me get off with regular sex , to some degree anyways.

I have to say I see the same behaviour in the girls that work as escort ..many were introduced to porn early in their life as teens. And Then Deffinetly have sex addiction tendencies , also drug addiction . Think they are linked especially that both work on their dopamine levels and they need more just to experience the same pleasure.

I do recognize that is what happened to me and seeing porn . I find I very hard to be a excited by most thing or get pleasure .Now some of that could be reversed and I had low dopamine levels to begin with and needed an extreme stimulus. With me I allways got a high from high mental activities and creativity. And then the low of coming down

I doubt that porn has anything to do with unrealistic expectations. Those existed way before porn as we know it did. Porn came from them, not the other way around. The fantasies came first, and have always been around. Porn is just an expression of what has been there as long as people have walked the earth.

The difference now compared to the old days is that people are much better informed about sexual matters as a result of the existence of porn. Before their fantasies would have been fed by their imagination and conversations with their friends. So, now people can discuss it openly whereas before those sorts of things would have been kept in the closet and spoken of in hushed whispers.

I'm aware of the negative effects of porn. A combination of many years in this industry & time spent researching effects of porn & porn addiction.

I can't slam it though..I'd be a hypocrite. The porn industry helps put food on my table. Good food. Many of my clients are extreme porn consumers. They see me because they want to act out what they get off on watching. Monkey see, monkey do.

Porn affects dopamine in the brain very similar to how drugs do. Each genre of porn is like a different drug.
For example..
Vanilla porn = marijuana
Shemale porn = crack..
Shemale porn is actually quite popular these days especially amongst the younger straight crowd.
Um......no.

The oldest profession is not called the oldest profession because people suddenly became interested in it with advent of cameras.

Good insight Miss Hunter. I really notice a change in the reviews since joining, and lurking before that.
There are a lot more "bust a nut all over her face" or "came in her mouth lol" types where the guy is just using her as a fucktoy. I even posted awhile ago that some guys would be better off using an inflatable love doll.
If a guy posts about spending quality time together ie fancy restaurants or a show he will get mocked.
I spent a week at a resort with a high end lady and had a fantastic time. Still guys told me I could have gone to Thailand and fucked a couple of dozen ladyboys for cheaper. As if I would want to.
