I’ll wear masks and stand in the right place where required but I’m back to normal in my personal and social life, once fully vaccinated. If I suspect that I or someone I want to interact with is infected, that would be the only exception that comes to mind where I would exercise caution, moving forward.
Probably no SPs for me until at least there is some kind of restored normalcy, e.g. international travel, or herd immunity, etc.
A vaccinated person can get infected & pass that infection on to hundreds of others who then may infect thousands more & so on.
A vaccinated person can get infected with covid & die from covid.
A vaccinated person can get infected with covid & suffer "long covid", illness that puts them in bed for weeks, hospitalization, ICU, etc.

While all technically true, they 'can' happen, the chances that any will happen are significantly reduced

Yes, getting vaccinated is the thing to do, as it results in greater safety for oneself & others one is around.
But since being vaccinated doesn't make one 100% safe, & there may still be significant risks in some situations, continued use of masks & social distancing can be useful.
Three weeks after I'm full vaccinated I'll return to seeing SP's. Even then I'll be more inclined to see women who have also been vaccinated with at least one dose. To me it's an indication that they take the safety of those around them seriously including their clients.
That's about enough anti-vax and COVID misinformation. Thread closed and fair warning, keep up with the tin foil hat nonsense and bans will ensue.
