Once again asking help for hotels...

Info

Well if you are looking for hotels in calgary I do not suggest the banff trail area at all, where all the hotels/motels are. The police watch that area like hawks. A good place to stay is at the Regency Suites downtown which is also by the Sheraton Eau Claire, neither needing a key to access elevator.
The regency suites have weekly rates which most hotels do not offer and a full excercise room as well. Since its located downtown its easy for people to find.

Second that

Thanks Rebecca

I agree with your assessment - no plans to visit if anywhere close to Banff Trail.

Ducky - I vote downtown as well. Though not for a rate increase :(

Downtown

Both the Hawthorne (now called 5th Avenue Suites) Royal Suites have no access card. the Hawthorne is on fifth ave and 5th Street SW both Jessica Parker(arriving on the Dec 2-6) and Niki Valhalla (arriving 11-15th) use it and I have seen someone at the Regency on fourth ave and 5th street SW both are sperated only by office depot. Apartment style rooms little main floor traffuc so in and outs are easy and NO access cards. Regency has plenty of free parking which is great.

The Radisson Hotel Calgary Airport has card access in the elevator but it is either broken or disabled so the card is not necessary.

Location Location Location

Something central i.e. downtown is going to be - on average - best for all clients. Plus the mademoiselle is not stuck in some desolate NE calgary 'neighborhood' with nothing to see and do on her time off!

Merci.

The Hotel Arts

The hotel Arts on 12th avenue was alright, or maybe that was because I saw Sara there and OH MY GOD, she was good....whatever.
