I responded to a thread put for by Viper and I answered it this way and it was suggested by several fellow PERB's that I share it with more of you and would welcome our most valued SP providers to comment as well.
This is really an opportunity for PERB to provide a valuable service for us all so thank-you for introducing this discussion Viper. This is a SERVICE industry has been around since Biblical times. I live in Calgary and get to travel to Vancouver 4-6 times a year for a week. As a result of PERB Reviews I have found the potential for two great providers for my next trip in the Burnaby area (one Hungarian, and one who giggles whom I have talked with both since joining) so for that enlightenment, I would like to thank those that post threads or replies that pertain to SP’s. And yes there is still the FOX'S DEN to visit.
I am still getting up to speed on all the terms and phrases (first thing PERB could post is a dictionary) but could not all the posting by SP's have check boxes for what they provide. DATY, GFE, cowgirl, CBJ, Russian, pearl necklace, Greek, smoker, non smoker I know there is more don't know what the correct number is, too many boxes and the SP's will not fill out, to few and the consumer is ill informed to make an educated decision and end up with a session he is unhappy with and hence perhaps a poor review but certainly no repeat business so the SP loses in the long run.
I also have seen that many SP have their own web page but since this is not universal to all providers I don't believe we should demand they are out of pocket the cost to maintain and update on a regular basis. This leaves me to photos and more importantly timing and accuracy. Again thanks to a review on a recent traveling SP to Calgary, she had very favourable shots on her web page but when visited by a Calgary PERB he found her weight reported at 130 was closer to 160. Having just made arrangements to pick her up at one of our local malls that afternoon I saw for myself before bailing she was probably closer to 180. Having time dated pictures or as with Euros they have a 6-month verification period, this could reduce the number of unsatisfied dates for both SP’s and consumers alike when certain physical attributes are important. On one Alberta SP provider whites only between certain ages and certain weight ranges, I don't fit but do respect.
If I am out of line with this I apologize if it should not have been a thread forgive me relatively new and I know this needs a lot more work from someone with more experience than me.
