Honestly, I'd had thought they'd trade Yakupov instead, but I am not that surprised. They need a D more - with Lucic and Conor McJesus, etc., he's surplus.

I think he will as well but how long will he last. He's a 28 year old with a 38 year old body. He's been ridden hard. Shoulda kept Hall and made a run at PK and paid whatever Bergevin wanted. Maroon, Henricks, Kassian is more than enough size to look after the young exceptional forwards they already have. As always, time will tell.
