Once a long long time ago I was second engineer on a deep sea tug docked in Singapore for New Year and all of us were bursting at the seams from four weeks cooped up on 135 feet of noisy, stinky tugboat. The plan was to be in the arms of a local lady by midnight in celebration and en mass we headed for the red light district with the help of a local cabbie. It's midnight, New Years eve, all is well , fireworks going off in all directions both outside and in and I hear uncontrollable laughter coming from the room next door where my bud James was setting off his own fireworks and he comes stumbling into my room holding his gut, naked as a jbird and unable to stop laughing while motioning me to follow him. Ok - I'm game so I go and he tells me that when he finished, his paramour grabbed a hand full of TP, wiped herself and threw it into the corner behind the dresser along with his condom. Curiosity got the better of him and he decided to have a look at what else was behind the dresser only to realize that the garbage guys had NOT been doing their job as there was a veritable mountain of soggy, stinky paper waiting to be removed. It did put a lil damper on our celebration but we still laugh about it all these years later. God bless the garbage guys.......
