Don't take it personally Miss Gia.
You look great, maybe we will meet someday.

Ok Big Woody, oh sorry westwoody. Hope to meet you as well.

eff me! talk about a big woody...holy smokes, thank you for the inspiration!!

Back to the topic at hand, we are unfortunately in the midst of a slow and steady decline in social mores, communication skills, entitlement issues, punctuation, grammar, etc. etc. and this has led to our culture becoming accepting of unacceptable behavior. It's prevailing in every sector not bound by economic/ethnic/religious factors and there's nothing to stem this trend...it's the new normal, I guess.

Bad manners are still bad manners in my book, no excuse. Somewhere in the last few decades we have lost our way...well, at least have 'street-cred' to get us through, lol

Last night I spent an hour with the wonderful Keissy Hennessey, while making small talk before the session I asked how Winnipeg has been for her so far, and she mentioned about all the no-shows she experienced that day! And then today I saw this thread after feeling bad for Miss Hennessey.

I was shocked that such a well known and respected SP who visits Wpg regularly had this problem. I had such a wonderful session, and I couldn't imagine how stupid a guy has to be to miss such an incredible time with Keissy! Through the years I have had several SP's cancel on me with a phone call or text, I am rarely stood up, and even more rarely I have to cancel for some reason and it has never been an issue to be polite and understanding when situations come up.

I run an appointment based business and have virtually eliminated no-shows with a couple techniques:

1. I ask the person to give me a phone call to confirm 1/2 hour before our appointment (NOT TEXT). An SP would get this call just before they start getting ready. With 1/2 hour notice and no phone call, an SP can still re-book that slot with someone else. I often am able to book an SP on the spur of the moment and be there within 30 minutes when im really horny. This works because actually hearing someones voice and speaking to them to confirm they are on their way is more personal than text. It is very important to clearly explain to customers that if they just show up with no phone call first at the expected time, then their slot will be given to someone else. That can be done by text sending instructions to follow and the location and confirmed appointment time.

2. Use multiple phone calls, 10-15 minutes before, make a courtesy phone call to make sure he has the correct directions to the hotel and ask if he is on the way. This is his 2nd opportunity to cancel.

3. This 3rd technique I know won't work for SP's, because I wouldn't do this for an SP I never met before. But for my reputable business with a web site, I always ask for a credit card number to confirm the reservation like a hotel room. I bill the client the full amount before they arrive and if they don't show up they forfeit their money. I only get 1 no-show every couple years out of more than 150 clients who all show up, and they never refuse to give me a credit card over the phone.

I hope one or more of these ideas helps you wonderful ladies.

Exactly absolute knowledge in what you shared.
I've learned through trial and error that I choose to view my cup half full at all times.
And with the screening I do and the standards I uphold to keep myself safe.
Try and spend my time with people that will get the mutual pleasure I will ...sorry I am selfish that way! Lol
The ones that don't show up its meant to be ...and at the end of the day all is well.
