lets not over-analyze this...shak said:lets see, now if an SP is on that no review list. Can she be mentioned in the 411 section ?
K,I've had a few brews but still have all my marbles,,whats the debate here?stryker said:I'm going to have a beer and celebrate on this one!!!!!!![]()
I think all the reputable ladies who might have been on "said list", would be able to reiterate that to their clients as to not post a review and if he's a gentleman, those wishes would be followed ,,,,it is very easy to distinguish between a shill/bad/troll review![]()
huh? I posted not more than a week or two ago asking for a moderator or someone in the know to confirm the existance or non-existance of a no review list on this boardModerator said:I am getting (IMHO) far to many requests from ladies and from some gents on behalf of Ladies to be put on the "no review" list.
At this time there is no such list in the Admin area.
My sugestion is for Ladies or other interested parties is to PM or e-mail Fred, untill such time as he posts a list there is no such thing as a "no review" policy.
As long as reviews are polite, respectable, not obvious Shills, and in the proper forums they will be allowed.
As one of the lapdogs in question, allow me to explain....westwoody said:Now that's being a lapdog.
totally!Tha_Bounce said:Swguy is not a moderator but definately a guy in the know. There was a 'No Review list' that was upheld by the last moderator. It wasn't a public list though. A new moderator has assumed the position since the last one retired and as of today (or whenever his post is dated) - There is not a 'No Review List' i.e. All Sp's can be reviewed (excluding personal agreements between customer and Sp) till when and if a new "No Review List' surfaces.
Does that help?
Of course I would do that but you need to send the link to the thread or the name of it. I checked my pm's ( and I might have missed it but I do not see one from you)R&T Addict said:Her review was a positive one, that's not the issue. The issue is anonymity, something we consider sacred for the pooners. Should we not extend that courtesy to SP's who, for their own personal reasons, wish to remain anonymous?
Mod, at the very least, could you edit out the name and phone number from the thread?
Only if the list is posted publicly. Otherwise, how would we know who's on and who's not?craiglist-lover said:Just don't see woman who choose to put themselves on the no review list.
Problem solved.
the phone # is just one way to ID a sp in a review. There can be a number of various descriptions, ie place she operates from or her own personal description or IDIOTS who start mentioning personal info as in her kids or any other kind of personal info.Ilovethemall said:OK - as far as googling someone's phone number. If you are ho'ing on the side or operate a R&T - here is a concept - get a different phone number and a P.O. box to have the bill sent to!
If you are so stupid as to leave a paper trail, you deserve to be busted.
A no review list is idiotic. As someone else said, if reviews get pulled, then why would anyone visit that person??
Absolutely agree with that! The other stuff in my post were just examples to what might and in some cases already has triggered someone being recognized.Ilovethemall said:BUT the review of person X that has stinky butt and flabby boobs and gives really bad service, should be allowed to exist!
How cheap is a pay-as-you-phone?R&T Addict said:Then one day, just for kicks, you google her telephone number...
pay as you go phones cheap? No not really. If you want to try and use one like a reg cell phone good luck. You'll be running into $100 per day and up.westwoody said:How cheap is a pay-as-you-phone?
If I'm paying a couple of hundred bucks I have every right to know whether I'm going to get anything for it, and if I get ripped off why shouldn't I complain? You think I should just let it slide so I don't "ruin her family". Save the guilt trip for someone else.
