Hell yeah can't wait for tomorrow. Gonna be a good Friday. Would be great to see everyone at work shred their masks.

As much as I don't like a mask, I think back to a time when I lived in a place that in winter went to 20-40 degrees below. I wore a mask outside (neoprene), kept my face warm.

Also I kinda liked walking into banks with a mask on.... just saying.....

Is there anyone else who thinks this decision might be based on something other than science?
Well after 3 shots and 3 variants, maybe the risk of the virus mutating has gone down. Also anyone catching covid after the vaccination has had milder effects then originals getting hospitilized and treated (which most died from due to its newness).
The immune system now has a good chance of overcoming any other variants?? especially if vaccinated?
Now letting mother nature take its course. Hopefully hospital can cope with any sudden need for hospitalization if a new variant comes up.
Also as a society we are much more open to cover up in the future, should the need occur.

So that means back to work for all the lazy people out there now. Now I won't see all those mask wearing people with the mask down off the nose!!!

Prop up the economy, slow inflation down. get back to being prosperous....

I am still going to wear mine in crowded places. I don't quite get why the rules are still in place for airplanes, but not transit buses, subway trains or ferries. there's no question that this is just as much about shutting down protests as it is about science. Also, could all be very short lived, if the numbers go up, mask rules come back, every medical officer was real clear about that. Still killing people every day, but we collectively seem to be just ready to accept that now. Meanwhile, friends with immunity issues are basically being told they don't matter anymore.

Heard from radio yesterday that airport and planes fall under federal jurisdiction and they have not lifted mask requirements yet. So my guess is, the feds are a bit slow or in the process.

You all still have a choice of wearing masks if you choose too. No one is forcing you to NOT wear it. I, myself, will not be wearing it. My breathing improves a lot more when not wearing it so for that reason --- I won't be wearing it. Hopefully, for a long time now lol

Was surprised at how many masks I saw at the gym this morning—young and old patrons alike. I can’t effectively workout wearing one and I don’t really stop to talk to people while traversing the facility so I won’t be wearing one in that setting. Won’t voluntarily wear one while walking from the front door of a restaurant to my table either. I’ll wear a mask when requested by any business though.

They probably didn't know about it yet

I think its all an experiment. The cases will go up, the question is by how much. If it gets too high they will backpedal and it will be awkward.

I agree. It doesn't make much sense, and even if the regime of Dr. Henry is better than the deluded clowns running AB and other prairie provinces, even she seems to have decided that the new strategy pandemic is attrition. If you can die from COVID, you will. Libertarianism means not giving a fuck about anyone but yourself, and taking the lives of others is okay if it gets you a bit more wealth or convenience. Nobody's willing to stand up against the tide of that, on any issue anymore.
