I just discovered that I'm allergic to a whole bunch of stuff, including some of the chemicals and materials used in makeup. I get runny eyes, itchy, and sometimes a rash from being exposed is what it seems. I never knew why these reactions would happen until I figured it out with and a series of appointments and tests and multiple dermatologist visits.
I have always been okay with no makeup during sessions, I even tell girls ive seen multiple times not to worry about makeup and hair as I'm all about the chill no pressure experience.
I understand though a lot of ladies may want to wear makeup and im obviously not going to be the only person they're seeing that day so they like to be done up, and may reapply and touch up between sessions, instead of going au naturele.
It's a can of worms to list specific ingredients that would bother me and I can't imagine each lady wanting to go over ingredients of each product she uses, so what's a polite way to say no makeup cause I'm allergic without being a difficult client? I've worked in the service industry and know exactly how much this can irritate some. I also book minimum two hours typically so im hoping the longer session is good incentive from a monetary standpoint for the providers and figured less preparation for the same pay, but I don't know.
