As someone else said, I think it’s reasonable to just let her know you’re allergic and ask in your email or text whether it’s be possible to have a session with no makeup.

and for those of you who may think “oh, just take a Claritin” that a lot of allergies are fucking nasty. If you wear perfumer around me my lungs, regardless of what anti histamine intake, feel like I’ve breathed in fire.

Depends on the stuff and how severe your allergies are. Works great for some types allergies, not at all for others, and everyone is different. What works for you may not work for someone else. Plus allergy drugs can have side effects of their own which may not be ideal. (Benadryl feels like a pot of coffee at 3am)

I like wearing makeup, but I would definitely make an exception for an allergy. If it’s beyond your control, I don’t see it as “difficult”. As opposed to you asking me to do something because it’s your preference, we are working together to keep you healthy.
