I just discovered that I'm allergic to a whole bunch of stuff, including some of the chemicals and materials used in makeup. I get runny eyes, itchy, and sometimes a rash from being exposed is what it seems. I never knew why these reactions would happen until I figured it out with and a series of appointments and tests and multiple dermatologist visits.

I have always been okay with no makeup during sessions, I even tell girls ive seen multiple times not to worry about makeup and hair as I'm all about the chill no pressure experience.

I understand though a lot of ladies may want to wear makeup and im obviously not going to be the only person they're seeing that day so they like to be done up, and may reapply and touch up between sessions, instead of going au naturele.

It's a can of worms to list specific ingredients that would bother me and I can't imagine each lady wanting to go over ingredients of each product she uses, so what's a polite way to say no makeup cause I'm allergic without being a difficult client? I've worked in the service industry and know exactly how much this can irritate some. I also book minimum two hours typically so im hoping the longer session is good incentive from a monetary standpoint for the providers and figured less preparation for the same pay, but I don't know.

Is it your face only? Or is the rest of your body equally sensitive?

Avoiding face-to-face skin contact while still getting kisses is possible, but it's probably safer to skip altogether. If body is sensitive too, it's going to be a skip of anything where her face may come into contact.

There are alternatives like tinted sunscreen but unless you give them your list of chemicals/ingredients to avoid, it may still irritate you. I'm happy to use tinted sunscreen if it helps though for those with genuine sensitivities, but it rubs off more easily than proper makeup. It's really not that different in how much I wear normally.

I definitely recommend qualifying your no makeup request by telling them you're allergic to some makeup ingredients. I get emails about how they want me bare-faced/no makeup but it's often due to their feelings about makeup and how women shape shift with it 😅 Wearing at least base makeup is heavily pressured in society where we get shit for NOT wearing it or not wearing enough. It's seen as unprofessional for women in most job fields where they will be seen visually to not have at least neat simple makeup on.

I am completely willing to do a session with no makeup except mascara. Don’t take away my mascara!! I’m a natural redhead and all my body hair is blond or red. My eyes are just prettier with mascara.

Just let a lady know at the time of booking. Allergies are something you can’t control, so that doesn’t make you a difficult client.

I love makeup and love a good dramatic Smokey eye and a glossy lip. If somebody’s preference is no makeup, I might pass on the appointment depending on my mood. But I have sympathy for people with allergies. The universe blessed me with amazing genetics and no allergies

I don't like overly limiting sessions like that. Defeats the purpose for me, but I have gotten these rashes on other parts, like if a lady laid her head on my chest. I have also gotten it bellow the navel from likely getting a bj..I also get it from some body lotions and soap, so I know to bring my own soap to not be a pain about what they should be supplying

Yeah, you're right it just sucks. I was being hopeful that some compromise could be made so you could still enjoy in some way with someone, but you know best 🩵

Good luck 🥹🍀

Just be up-front and be willing to be the first or last session of her day.
If first, she can skip the make up until you leave.
If last, she can remove it before you arrive.

But if you're looking for a session in the middle of her day, it would likely help to give her a hefty tip to accommodate your needs.

Aw I'm sorry to hear that! I myself have very sensitive skin and my list of allergies & sensitivities is probably longer than I am tall, so I feel your pain. It can be really tricky to navigate isolating and avoiding these triggers in everyday life. I can even react to things like the laundry soap or fabric softener that have been used on clothing/bedding.

As far as advice for seeing providers, I think just include it in your initial booking request. Keep it simple and state that your no make-up request is due to allergies. I think it would only come across as difficult/demanding if you don't mention your (very legit) reason. Then she will reply to let you know if she is able to accommodate or not and you can go from there!

I am always make up and scent free, and my incall is a low scent place if you'd ever like to connect! ❤

All the women in life have been zero make up wearers and I mean zero. Freckled hippy types are my jam. Never had to fight for mirror or counter space :). What ever makes some one feel their best works for me.

I love perfume and makeup and lingerie and high heels. The last few places I’ve lived has had hard wood floors with people below me, so I now work barefoot but I have so many stilettos just looking pretty on my shoe shelf. 😭.

I grew up with hippie parents so I’m very hippie like in a lot of ways but I’m also not hippie like at all. My dad is still very much a hippie and likes to bug me for being so materialistic 🤪

But I don’t wear scents for work as I don’t want anybody getting divorced because they went home smelling like givenchy ange de demon or whatever. I have an air purifier in my room to keep pet dander and dust and pollutions down to a minimum and I vacuum and dust daily. I have health food store unscented body wash for babies in my shower.

I use tide laundry detergent with bounce tho, so if somebody’s really allergic to scents, they’d be better off bringing a top sheet and their own towel than using a providers.

I think shoes and makeup and all that stuff is just fun. I love playing with makeup and I have since I was a little girl. It’s all like playing dress up to me. I definitely don’t take any of it seriously. I hope to be one of those really colorful wild old ladies that you see in New York on Instagram. lbs of jewelry and huge hats and purples and pinks and be the most colorful person in this whole city. 90 years old and photographed everywhere I go. Laughing and loving life in my purple glitter lipstick 🤪💕😭 lol.

I don’t smoke weed tho. Or drink. Have to get my fun from somewhere

I think it’s reasonable to request no make up and mention it’s because you have allergies. I have allergies too, the minimal makeup I do wear has to be hypoallergenic. I’ve had a few clients ask for no makeup because they prefer a natural look… no problem, saves me time putting it on! I also check if a client has pets before an outcall so I can take an antihistamine. (Cuz you KNOW I’m gonna wanna pet that pet!!)

Post selfies of your feet/shoes in the selfie thread.....

Also if you are sensitive to stuff, does a antihistamine work?
