Hello All! I have seen a number of ads like this and I even though they come off as somewhat bigoted, part of me is curious to know if this 'Black bias' is a result of... other [legitimate] reasons. Was the SP, um, stiffed? Maltreated? Mistreated? Client not appealing enough? "Preference"? Or is it just plain racial politics at work here?Please feel free to chime in and sate my curiosity...

I've been told the same thing by escorts from Toronto and Quebec, and that is part of the reason why they come to work in BC - less black men here, only polite asian men - aside from the usual white guys.

From personal experience I have had black males, white males and east indian males asking in person if I wanted to go into business with them which I kindly rejected but I don't agree it should be focused on one type of race. This happens amongst all races. I think it's a bit ignorant to say the least to even have an ad stating that sort of hatred. But that's my opinion ☺

To each their own. Sex is a personal thing It supercedes any reasoning. I would never ask anyone to do something sexual if they don't want too willingly. My understanding that some providers will not see someone of their own race makes complete sense to me also. What ever reason they choose to share or not is not my worry. I don't consider it hate or racism.

The last time this topic came up, I remember there being a post about a young woman at an agency telling the booking person "No brown (EI) guys!) Then one day, a regular client came in, the agency thought "Oh but he's a great guy, and no one else is available; she won't mind this ONE TIME!" The booker went ahead, and when the girl opened the door and entered the room, she found herself face to face with her fiancee. He did not know she worked; she did not know he partook.

Whether an SP's reasons are "legitimate" or not should not be debatable- her restrictions are her choice. Period.

Related question - why do some SP's refuse to see men that are asian? Could be similiar answer to what Erica Phoenix and Lady Via already posted, but I've seen several ads that very explicit say stuff like "I do not see men of asian origin at all". Is it because they treat you bad or something else?
