Hi All

I just wanted to tell you about a new service that is being offered in BC.

Telling your sexual partners that you have been diagnosed with an STI can be a difficult thing to do. This service allows you to send electronic postcards (“e-cards”) to partners telling them what has happened. The service also gives information on the nearest clinic and you can keep your details private.

Here is a link to the press release on the BCCDC web site

Here is a link to information on how to use the service.

Can this service be used by knowing the persons phone number rather than their email. i.e. sms text

Hi Winnie

I have spoken with our people who have organized this service and they said that you can not send messages with just a phone number.

We have had a few requests for this capability and have spoken to the company about this.

Hopefully in the future they will provide more options.

Thanks for the suggestion. It helps our case when we say that it is a feature our clients would like.
