Apparently I'm on the mainland now as well...Alls I knows is that my ads are mysteriously in the Vancouver Escorts section.
I didn't know I moved.
This is news to me.

Fred, most of IE users are using IE 9 or above.Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 and 7 no longer supported.
Thu 2nd Feb '12, 4:58pm
After extensive deliberation and an in-depth analysis of global browser trends, we have decided to drop support for both Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 and 7 with the release of vBulletin 4.2.
What gives, fellas? How many days are we into this "upgrade" now, and we still can't post without the "you must wait 90 seconds to post" screen coming on? Is this bug such a mystery that no one on the IT team can figure out how to get rid of it? C'mon man!Fred, I hope you're following this thread...many of us are reporting bugs, not just mercyshooter, and two days later, those original bugs are still having their lunch on the site...minor or not, some major things are fucked up.![]()
Oh, your just trying to piss 'em off now...aren't 'cha!!!!Any idea why only 3 sections show up for Vancouver if you're not logged in but 5 show up if you are? Why would Massage reviews and 411 need someone to be logged on? ....
oh, and yes I'm using IE9!!
Did you post ?? https://perb.cc/vbulletin/showthread.php?190226-The-BIG-TEASE&p=1444945#post1444945How come I double post and it takes 90 seconds to post ? Another thing why are my ads not showing up . Is the independent escort section now gone ? Why would spa what ever the name of the place can advertise in the same section an Independent massage does ?

Dearest Fred, you win the prize for stubborn but we love you anyways! I do not use IE, as I`m a Mac girl and have been on Safari since the beginning of this adventure! Hence my concern that these are bugs that (due to your stubbornness) are just not getting addressed. We`re all still here, aren`t we? The loyal fanclub remains but, if you could just address the issues, instead of telling us how to run our internet lives, we could all get along so much more happily!Did you post ?? https://perb.cc/vbulletin/showthread.php?190226-The-BIG-TEASE&p=1444945#post1444945
There are very few massage advertisers on Vancouver Perb more than enough room for all of you to be on page 1 of the advertising page on any day!
For those of you who are having issues with IE it only takes 2 minutes ( or less ) to download FireFox or Chrome or Safari, much easier and faster than asking me to rewrite the code. You can have 4 or 5 different browsers on your computer. Save your beloved IE for other websites, it`s not a big deal if IE does not work well here !
What can I say?! I've been giving him and his team tips and they don't listen.Dearest Fred, you win the prize for stubborn but we love you anyways! I've noticed and, unlike you, I'm almost a total internet/computer dinosaur, but I know marketing and when the fan base keeps saying the same things, over and over and over and over and over (you get my drift), a company should really be listening! What can I say?! I've been giving him and his team tips and they don't listen.
Dude, get your head out of the IE vs everything else box. Most of your problems have nothing to do with that, maybe some but certainly not all. Next thing you`ll be doing is telling us that we have to change our hardware too. As others have pointed out, we`re trying to help you for Chr$$ sake. In any case, believe it or not, even when I use Google Chrome only 3 Vancouver categories show up if I`m not signed on versus 5 categories when I am. In contrast, Victoria has all 5 show up all the time. Is this what you intended? If you were trying to provide this service in the "vanilla business world" your customers would be long gone...Did you post ?? https://perb.cc/vbulletin/showthread.php?190226-The-BIG-TEASE&p=1444945#post1444945

How can it be a bug when I posted the link to the software maker stating that IE was no longer bring supported ?Dearest Fred, you win the prize for stubborn but we love you anyways! So what are you saying, you find it annoying ( or too much work) you 've to log in to read some forums ?Dude, get your head out of the IE vs everything else box. Most of your problems have nothing to do with that, maybe some but certainly not all. Next thing you'll be doing is telling us that we have to change our hardware too. added 90 seconds later: oh and look, another message saying I have to wait 90 minutes before posting again but I only tried to post once!
You know those threads where we have to remind people not to feed the troll... it's getting to that point here... Many of us are in high-tech and understand what the underlying issues are but clearly FZ does not. He (or his friends/buddies) don't have a clue how to go about this in a structured way and they're going to continue to hack away at this no matter what anyone says. He can't even understand how the inconsistencies between the various areas make no sense and points to coding/design problems. If he was in my software development team he'd be gone, but thankfully he is not. Perhaps he's trying to do this on a very restricted budget and venture into an area he's not that familiar with for which I'd say good on ya for trying but if I was one of his paying customers I'd be pissed.Fred, I checked vBulletin. But it didn't say IE9 or above is not supported. Do you know that all latest stable browsers now support most scripting languages such as php, asp.net, jsp, etc. The difference is the layout engine of these browsers. Again the link only says IE6 and IE7, not IE8 and above. Also, all browsers now support HTML5, CSS3, JS (latest version), etc. So, you can't say it's browsers' fault now. Layout not good is still acceptable, but human coding errors are not. Hope you have obtained enough programming and/or industry knowledge and re-code everything. Stop messing up the live server, but try to download everything from the live server and do it on your own pc. Then afterwards, test thoroughly.
Sorry for the annoyance. Just trying to help and give you more input.Welcome to the programming world!

You're making me nuts, Sweetie...that's just not the answer to these various and sundry problems we're having...a glitch, an oversight, a bug...you know what I mean? I'm not on here that often but, 24 hours later, I still get the 'must wait 90 seconds to post' message, on my first try...isn't that kinda crazy? I repeat, C'mon Man!How can it be a bug when I posted the link to the software maker stating that IE was no longer being supported ?
That's awesome news, thanks Fred! It seems as though we are getting somewhere! Woo Hoo!Hey the Vancouver section is first as it should be.
To break from the norm....... thanks for listening Fred.
